1 Application
This conversion kit is intended to increase drawer capacity for Julian.
Note: This conversion is only for use wit h t he chassis extension Big Foot 8601798!

2 Included in the Kit
The conversion kit "RS Extra Drawers" 8601966 contains the following parts:
- 1 chest of drawers with guide rail
- 1 adapter for mounting t o Julian
Loose parts:
- 2 x 2M18572 cap
- 1 x 8601959 sheet
- 1 x 8601958 sheet
- 1 x M29110 sheet
- 2 x 1263196 screw
- 1 x 1295594 screw
- 1 x 8601981 conversion instructions for Julian “extra drawers”

This conversion should be carried out by a service technician.

Disassemble all mounted hinged arms and auxiliary devices located on the right side of the
device (advantageous).

4 Tools
4.1 Tools:
Basic tool kit, including:
- Allan key 5.0 mm
- power screwdriver or drill
- drill bit ∅ 5.0 mm and thread cutt er M6
5 Instructions
5.1 General:
During the conversion, be sure to avoid damaging t he side panel and t he chassis of the device.
The conversion kit “extra drawers” is pre-assembled and only requires final mounting and
adjustment.
5.2 Installation:

1. Remove the standard rail cover from the right side of the device (as seen when facing the
front of the device).
2. Remove the hand railing (bent rail profile), but not the handle, from the right side of the

device.
3. Cover the location hole of the hand railing with the cap 2M18572.
4. If this is not present: drill and cut a thread M6 (see Illustrat ion 1).
5. Mount the adapter to Julian using the two screws M6x12 1263196 and sheet M29110 (see
Illustration 2).
6. Connect the chest of drawers and its guide rail to the adapter f r om below and carefully set it
on the chassis extension; screw the stud screws and the screws M6X40 1295594 into the
adapter.
7. Refit and remount the rail cover.
6 Final Testing
- Remount dismounted options.
- Perform function t est for device.
