Nor-Lake’s Deadbolt Locking Handle
■ Nor-Lake Deadbolt Locking Handle carries both a
Design and a Mechanical Patent and is available
only from Nor-Lake.
■ This handle, offering more security and additional
locking features, is now being installed on all
standard walk-in doors from Nor-Lake at no
additional cost!
■ The Deadbolt Locking Handle incorporates a
deadbolt style lock which can be independently
locked with a key and/or padlock.
■ This is the only deadbolt lock designed to be used
on walk-in coolers and freezers.
■ The entire locking mechanism is on the frame
portion of the door section.
■ There are no parts between the door and frame
requiring alignment, therefore, no operational
concerns.

Equip Your Walk-In with High Security...
■ There are no exposed screws on the locking
mechanism.
■ The locking mechanism cannot be removed from
the exterior of the door frame. Even if the handle is
taken off the door (while in the locked position), the
door will remain securely locked by the deadbolt
which remains extended over the exterior of the
door.
■ The locking mechanism includes an inside release
knob which allows the easy exit from the walk-in
should someone be locked inside.
■ The handle can also be locked in the fully unlocked
position, with key and/or padlock. This prevents the
unauthorized locking of the door.

Model NL9800 Deadbolt Locking Handle
With Independent Key/Padlock Feature:
Bright polished chrome nish with deadbolt that can be
independently locked with either key or padlock. Deadbolt can be locked in the unlocked position to prevent
unauthorized locking of the door. Locking mechanism
with inside release knob is mounted on the frame side of
the door opening and includes no moving parts through
frame. This design eliminates any possibility of lock
freeze-up. Locking mechanism has no exposed fasteners
to give maximum tamper resistance. Locked door cannot
be opened even if handle is removed from the door.

Plastic plugs serve as bumpers
Nor-Lake offers the NL9800 Deadbolt Locking Handle in an easy to install retrot kit,
for ush mount (intting) doors, which allows you to upgrade your existing cooler or
freezer on site. This kit is designed with stainless steel mounting plates that cover all
the old mounting holes which remain after you have removed your old handle. The
standard kit and plate system will work with any brand of walk-in that has a 4” thick wall
and is equipped with a ush mount (intting) door. (Part #108929)
