The instruments allow the noise attenuator, noise
f i l t e r, signal attenuator values, step size, and signal
filter setting to be selected in three ways: at the
f r ont panel keypad, remotely via IEEE-488 bus, or
automatically under program contro l .
E v e r y front panel operation except instru m e n t
o n / o f f is programmable. Programs are easily written
using the program key, and information on the
display guides the user through the next steps. Nine
u s e r - c r eated programs that contain subro u t i n e s ,
delay times, and loops can be stored in non-volatile
m e m o r y.
