N 149 V Power Supply
Das Netzgerät N 149 V dient der Stromversorgung eines Mikrophons M 147 Tube, M 149 Tube
oder M 150 Tube. Es ist dem klassischen Neumann-Design älterer Röhrennetzgeräte nachempfunden. Es enthält die moderne Elektronik
des regulären N 149, unterscheidet sich aber
durch das eingebaute Netzteil.
Das N 149 V ist ein Gerät mit Überstrom- und
Kurzschlußsicherheit. Es erfüllt die Bestimmungen nach UL 1950, 3101-1, 544, 2601, CSA
22.2#234, 125, 601, 1010.1, EN 60950 (IEC
950), EN 41003, IEC 601 und 1010. Die EMVPrüfung erfolgte nach EN 55011, EN 55022,
VFG 243 Klasse B sowie FCC Teil 15 Klasse B.
Für die Kaltgerätesteckdose nach IEC 320 liegt
eine Netzleitung bei.
Das Gerät ist für alle Netzspannungen zwischen
100 und 240 V geeignet, sowie für Netzfrequenzen zwischen 50 und 60 Hz.
Die Betriebsbereitschaft des N 149 V wird
durch eine orangefarbene Leuchte signalisiert.
Um die Eigenschaften bzgl. der elektrischen
Sicherheit gemäß den genannten Standards zu
erhalten, liegt der EIN-AUS-Schalter nicht in
der Netzverbindung, sondern schaltet die
Stromversorgung des Mikrophons. Um
Netzspannungsfreiheit zu erreichen, ist der
Netzstecker zu ziehen.
Unter dem Schalter und der Leuchte befinden
sich die 8-polige Anschlußdose für das Kabel
KT 8 zum Mikrophon, sowie der 3-polige XLRStecker als Modulationsausgang. Die Beschaltung dieser Steckverbinder ist die gleiche wie
beim Serien-Netzgerät N 149 (A).
The N 149 V power supply is designed to feed
one M 147 Tube, M 149 Tube or M 150 Tube
microphone. It has the classic Neumann design
of vintage tube power supplies and features the
modern circuitry of the regular N 149, combined with a built-in all-voltage DC-converter.
The N 149 V is protected against excess
currents and short circuits. It fulfills the
requirements of UL 1950, 3101-1, 544, 2601,
CSA 22.2#234, 125, 601, 1010.1, EN 60950
(IEC 950), EN 41003, IEC 601 and 1010. It is
EMC tested following EN 55011, EN 55022,
VFG 243 class B and FCC part 15 class B.
A power mains cable is included for the
IEC 320 mains socket.
The N 149 V is suited for all voltages between
100 and 240 V, with line frequencies of 50 and
60 Hz.
An orange lamp signalizes operation of the
N 149 V. To preserve the features regarding
electrical safety according to the mentioned
standards, the ON-OFF switch does not lie in
the mains path but in the microphone supply
circuitry. To completely detach the N 149 V
from the mains lines please unplug the mains
connection.
Below the switch and the lamp the cable
connectors are situated: 8-pin female DIN
connector for the KT 8 cable leading to the
microphone and the 3-pin male XLR providing
the audio signal output. Pin assignment is the
same as in the regular N 149 (A) power supply.

Kunststoffüße des Netzgeräts angreifen können.
Die angegriffenen Füße können unter Umständen unliebsame Spuren hinterlassen. Die Firma
Georg Neumann GmbH, Berlin, kann aus verständlichen Gründen für solche Schäden nicht
haften. Verwenden Sie daher bitte gegebenfalls
eine rutschfeste Unterlage.

Installation Instructions:
It cannot be excluded that some floor and
other surfaces contain lacquers which might
attack the synthetic rests on the bottom side
of the power supply. The attacked rests might
then leave stains. With the wide range of
solvents used in surfaces nowadays, Georg
Neumann GmbH, Berlin, cannot be held liable
for any such damage. Please use an appropriate
non-slip mat in such cases.
The N 149 V is intended for indoor use only.

rain or liquids!
