NETGEAR expands its line of award-winning ProSafe Smart Switches with a suite of 10/100
Stackable Smart Switches. The ProSafe Stackable Smart Switches adds the flexibility of economical,
modular growth paired with a more robust management feature set and still gives you the ease
of use and affordability you expect from ProSafe Smart Switches. With options of 24 or 48 10/100
ports, both of the Stackable Smart Switches offer 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports for high speed connectivity.
Two of the Gigabit Ethernet ports offer the option of fiber connectivity via Small Form-factor
Pluggable (SFP) GBIC** slots for long distance links. NETGEAR's ProSafe FS728TS and FS752TS
deliver performance and scalability through a 4Gbps, dual-ring, resilient stacking architecture with
the ability to mix and match to stack up to six units or 192 10/100 ports—and manage them all at
a single IP address! The non-blocking design of the switches deliver simultaneous, full wire-speed,
low-latency throughput to all ports. Shipped ready to go straight out of the box, they deliver
switching that's easy to set up, stack-up and use.
The popular intuitive, Web-browser interface offers the Smart Switch management, making
it a snap to monitor stack performance, configure ports, even set up port trunks, VLANs, and
traffic prioritization. In addition, the ProSafe Stackable Smart Switches expand on the current
ProSafe Smart Switch feature set by adding 801.x security, SNMP v2c and v3 support, logging,
rate limiting and Layer 3 prioritization. NETGEAR’s ProSafe Stackable Smart Switches are
value-packed switches targeted at the demands of growing businesses for a network
infrastructure solution that delivers performance, scalability, ease-of-use, and affordability.
Grow your network as you grow your business, adding switches to the stack as you need them. Mix
and match 24 or 48 port switches for up to 192 ports controlled at a single point. Two SFP GBIC fiber
slots provide optional fiber connectivity for greater distance. Use either copper or fiber connections to
connect up your stack
In addition to stacking capability and popular key management features, these third generation Smart
Switches offer more control such as 802.1x for security, layer 3 traffic prioritization, SNMP v2c and v3,
and rate limiting.
Ideal for growing businesses who want the benefits of management without the cost and complexity
of a managed network. Stack them right out of the box without management configuration!
LEDs located on the front panel make switch status easy to observe and troubleshooting easy to
accomplish. Made to last, these durable switches are housed in a 17-inch metal box and comes with
a rack mounting kit.
