Safety Instructions
1. Remember the blades are VERY SHARP! Be careful to keep hands away from the blades.
2. It is recommended that the handle be kept in the “down” position when it is not being used.

Preparation
1. Place the Pineapple Corer - Peeler on a good firm work surface.

Operation of Pineapple Corer - Peeler
1. Raise LEVER HANDLE to lift the BLADE ASSEMBLY.
2. Carefully cut off the top and the bottom of the pineapple. Note: The top and bottom cut must be as close to parallel cuts as possible.
3. Place the pineapple on the base of the FRAME with the bottom cut down and the top cut pointing directly upward.
4. Bring the HANDLE down so that the BLADE ASSEMBLY rests upon the pineapple. Check to be sure that the pineapple core lines up
with the corer tube in the center of the BLADE ASSEMBLY.
5. Push the HANDLE downward with a firm motion, or raise the HANDLE an inch or so and bring it back down with a firm motion.
6. Hold a LEG down with one hand and lift the HANDLE to its full “up” position to eject the pineapple from the BLADE ASSEMBLY.
7. As pineapple is being cored the core from the previous pineapple will be ejected out the top of the corer tube. Use the included white
ejector rod to push the last core out from the bottom of the corer tube from the top.
To Clean
1. This Pineapple Corer - Peeler is easily disassembled for cleaning.
a) Remove the two CLAMP SCREWS from the GUIDE RODS. Lift HANDLE a few inches and then lift the EJECTOR PLATE off the
GUIDE RODS and allow the EJECTOR to slide down the CORER TUBE through the BLADE ASSEMBLY.
b) Remove RING PIN. Hold HANDLE up and out of the way and lift the BLADE CARRIER ASSEMBLY off the GUIDE RODS.
c) To remove the BLADE ASSEMBLY from the BLADE CARRIER, remove screws and BLADE RETAINER.
2. Reassemble by reversing the procedure.
To Lubricate
Lubricate the GUIDE RODS with mineral oil or a “food grade” lubricant as needed. Do not lubricate with cooking oil – it gets sticky!
To Replace Blades
Disassemble per To Clean. Install the replacement BLADE ASSEMBLY and reassemble.
