CAR RADIO DVD PLAYER
Please read the instruction carefully
before operating the unit.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Important safeguards
Be sure to connect the color coded leads according to the diagram. Incorrect
1. connections may cause the unit to malfunction or damage the vehicle’s elec-
trical system. Be sure to connect the speaker (-) leads to the speaker (-) terminal. Never
2. connect the left and right channel speaker cables each other or to the vehicle body.
Make sure all the connections are completely correct before turning on your
3. unit.
When replacing the fuse(s), the replacement must be of the same amperage
4. as shown on the fuse holder.
Do not block vents or radiator panels. Blocking them will cause heat to build
5. up inside and may result in fire.
After completing the installation and beginning to play the unit(including re-
6. placing the battery), press RESET button on the base with pointed object
(such as ball-point pen) to set the unit to initial status. Do not attempt to modify the unit, modifying the unit may cause an accident.
7. Stop the vehicle before carrying out any operation that could interfere with
8. your driving.
Do not work in extremely high or low temperature. Be sure the temperature
9. inside the vehicle is between +60°C and -10°C before turning on your unit.
T o avoid the driver distract his attention from, please install the unit in an apt
10. place.
Using the unit after starting the engine, otherwise the unit can not be started,
11. because the electric energy of battery was used up.
Do not use the unit in extreme high temperature or such low temperature
12. conditions, and also avoid humidity and direct sunlight, otherwise the electric
energy of battery will be wasting for the high temperature. T ake care of the magnetism of the unit. Do no put the credit card, cassette or
13. watch around the unit, otherwise they would be broken or some information in them loses.
To avoid disturbing the video frequency, keep far away from the unit when
14. using your phone.
Do not put the remote control under high temperature or where the sun strikes
15. it, or else the remote control can not work normally.
Be sure to remove the transportation screw absolutely before mount-
16.
ing the unit.
Please warn children not to play the motorized screen which might hurt their
17. fingers.

When you select or create a disc to play with this product, please note:
Avoid long file names! It is suggested to name the file with no much than 14 characters. The total number of files on the disc should not exceed 3000. But under a table of contents most demonstrates 646 documents. The maximum number of directories should not exceed 299. The maximum depth level of directories should not exceed 37. File system(SD & USB): FAT 32 and FA T 16.
Disc and files you can play
In spite of progress made to ensure playability of all discs types, it is not possible to guarantee playback of discs which are not in conformity with DVD, CD, VCD or SVCD standards. This unit may not play some recordings or files on CDs or DVDs due to differ­ences in recording formats, software used and disc types. The recordable discs may need a longer reading time than normal discs.

Note:
The brown wire (Parking Break) is connected with brake signal; for safety, the programs can be seen on the monitor after braking the car, but RCA output are free of it. If you do not want to use this function, connect it with the negative pole.

Install the unit Note: Regardless of the type of installation used, remove the car radio from the
mounting sleeve (cf. "Detach the unit") before starting installation.
Installation Method 1:
DIN Front - Mount
Installation Method 2
Installation using the screw holes at the sides of the unit. Select a position where the screw holes of the mounting bracket supplied with the car and the screw holes of the main unit become aligned (are fitted), and tighten the screws (see at 2 places on each side). And then fasten them to the car.
Detach the unit
Detach the front panel before disassembling the unit.
1. Take out the Outer Trim Frame 5 .
2. Insert the keys 6 supplied to the unit at both sides of the unit (shown as illustrated) until they click. Pulling the keys makes it possible to remove the unit from the dashboard.

Replacing battery for the remote control
1. Press the stopper and pull out the battery holder.
2. Install 1pc “CR2025” lithium battery according to the polarity diagram on the battery compartment.
3. Insert the battery holder into the remote control.
Warning on batteries
• Never recharge the batteries, apply heat to them or take them apart.
• In order to avoid any risk of explosion, observe the polarities indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Replace only with the type of batteries specified above.
• If you are not using the remote control for a long period of time, remove the batteries.
• Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
• T o prevent short circuit, do not use metal tweezer to clip the battery.
• Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
Before throwing any batteries away, consult your distributor who may be able to take them back for specific recycling.
BASIC OPERATION
Regional Coding
Y our DVD player has been designed to process regional management informa­tion that is stored on DVD discs. DVD discs that have different regional codes to that of your player cannot be played. The regional code for your player is 2 (Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, Japan). ALL means all regions. When you buy a disc check that it bears the correct logo.
Turning ON/OFF The Unit
Press PWR button (1/H1)) to turn on the unit. When insert a disc, the unit will automatically start playing. Press and hold PWR button (1/H1) to turn off the unit.

Selecting Source
Press SRC (1/H1) or BACK in the monitor, enter source menu and press to select.
• If the font displays in cyan, that means this function is not available.
• Press SRC (1/H1) to switch between play modes. When disc, SD card and USB were inserted into, press this key again and again to switch among AUX, Radio, USB, SD card and disc.
Reset the Unit
Operating the unit for the first time or after replacing the car battery, you must reset the unit. Press RES button on the unit with a pointed object, (with such as a ball point pen) to set the unit to initial status. Note:
• When some errors occur in the display, you can also press RES button to resume to normal, and it will erase the clock setting power and some memorized functions.
• This unit will return to standby mode after press RES. Press PWR to power on the unit again.
Volume Adjusting T o increase or decrease the sound level, press VOL+/- button (6/H14).
Mute Button
Press MUTE button (3/H12) to shut off the sound. Press it again to resume to previous volume. Press and hold MUTE button(3) to enter the night mode, press and hold it again to switch to normal mode.
Sound Characteristics Setting
Repeatedly press SEL button (5/H14) to select the desired mode in the following order: VOL (volume) ->BAL (balance) ->F AD (fade) ->BAS (bass) ->TRE (treble)
-> SUB (subwoofer). After selecting the desired mode, you can adjust the current level by pressing VOL+/- button (6/H14). Note: The unit will return to the previous mode if no adjusting about 5 seconds.
EQ Setting
When you are listening to popular music, classic music or rock music, using EQ function(H21) to select relative status can adjust the sound quality perfectly. Repeatedly press and hold EQ button (H21), status switches in the following order: Pop-> Classic-> Rock-> EQ OFF.
Switching Loudness On/off
Press and hold LOUD button (H25) to activate LOUD function. By this function, you can increase the low frequency, which can improve sensitivity for your ears. Press and hold this button again to cancel “LOUD” function.
Insert and Eject a Disc
Press REL(7) when the unit is on, Insert a disc (with label side up) into the Disc Loading Slot (10) when the TFT slanted. T o eject a disc, press (9) on the head unit will return to the initial status.
• If a disc is locked and can’t be ejected, switch to radio mode then press button
(9) for 3 seconds, the disc can be forced out.
Monitor Angle Setting
Press and hold REL (7) till ANGLE appears in the monitor, press + (2) to adjust monitor backward, or press - (3) to adjust it forward. Warning: Do not use outside force to bear on monitor to adjust its angel, other­wise it may destroy the monitor.
PLAYBACK
Play/Pause/Stop
1. Insert a disc, the unit will automatically switch to disc play mode.
2. During playback, press (H17) to pause playback, press again to resume.
• When playing a disc/SD includes PIC file, press (H18) and then / on the
monitor to select the option, press ENTER to play.
3. Press (H18) to stop playback.
• When playing MP4 (DivX, MPEG-4), press (H18) to stop playing, then press
(H17) to return to the beginning of the current track.
• When playing a DVD/VCD disc, press (H18) once to pre-stop,and press
(H20) or (H17) to resume playback. T o quit playing completely press (H18) twice.
• When driving, cannot look at the video and the pictures, a warning would
be display on screen. Selecting Folders and Files
In stop mode, press or to select the desire folder or file. Press or ENTER to enter folder or start playing files.
Note:Press to return previous directory.
Selecting Tracks Fast
1. During CD playback, press to return to the beginning of the current track, press again within 3 seconds to play previous track; press to play next track.
2. Press one of Number Buttons (H23) to select a track, it will be played automatically. Note: Press within 3 seconds to go to previous track, if the track runs more than 3 seconds, press to replay current track.
3. During CD/MP3/SD/USB playback, press track region and the screen shows the following menu: number keys appears, touch the number to select tracks. Touch the “ X “ to exit this menu.
• To clear the wrongly input, press CLEAR (H22).
4. During DVD/VCD/MP4 playback, touch the screen, the bottom shows the following menu:
In above menu, press the right half area(except for Track region mentioned above) of the screen repeatedly to play the next track( shows), or press the left half area(except for Track region) of the screen to play the previous track( shows).
Repeat playback
For VCD/CD/MP4/SD, press RPT button (H15) to replay the current track. Press this button again to cancel this function. For DVD, repeatedly press RPT button (H15) to replay as following: Chapter-> Title->Off.
Note: For Disc (CD/VCD), default setting is Disc repeat. For MP3/WMA, default setting is folder repeat. For DVD, default setting is whole disc repeat, but if it stops at a program menu, please select a program and press ENTER.
Playing tracks in random order
During VCD/CD/MP3/SD/MPEG-4 playback: press RDM button (H16), the unit plays any track at random under the directory which you select. Press RDM (H16) again to return to normally playing.
Program playing
VCD/CD: Press PROG button (H13), the TFT displays (12) the program menu. Press 0~9 number button (H23) to select the track number (for example “05”). Follow this step repeatedly until the program is finish. Press direction keys (H20) to move the cursor to START, press ENTER (H20) to start program playing. During program playing, press STOP (H18) to stop the program playing. Move the cursor to and press ENTER (H20) to go to the previous page, or move the cursor to and press ENTER (H20) to go to next page. Move the cursor to the EXIT and press ENTER (H20) to exit the program playing.
ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
System Switch
During VCD/DVD playback mode, press P/N (H11) to set the TV standard to PAL or NTSC or AUTO system.
• This can also be set by SETUP MENU.
Slow Motion Playback
During DVD playback mode, press (H10) to slow forward or slow backward. There are speeds as follow:

Zoom the View
During VCD/DVD/MPEG-4 mode, press ZOOM(H9) repeatedly to reach a de­sired size. There are sizes as follow: 2 times->3 times->4 times-> no change.
• To move the image from one area to another by pressing button , , , .
On Screen Display
During CD/VCD status, press OSD button (H8) and the display shows: Single elapsed time-> Single remain time-> T otal elapsed time -> Total remain time->Off (VCD). During DVD status, press OSD button (H8) the display shows: Title elapsed time->Title remain time-> Chapter elapsed time-> Chapter remain time-> OFF . During MP4 status, press OSD button (H8) and the display shows: Single elapsed time-> Single remaining time-> Off.
Skip backward/forward/F.F/F.REW the playback
In playback mode, press or (H20) to perform fast reward or fast forward. Each pressing will change as follow: 2 times -> 4 times -> 8 times -> 16 times -> NORMAL PLAYBACK.
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
When you enter Radio mode, the touch monitor will show as follow . Touch the icon on the monitor directly to set corresponding status.

Band Selector
During radio mode, repeatedly press BAND button (2/H3) to select bands in following order: FM1->FM2->FM3->MW1 ->MW2
Manual/Automatic Tuning Manual T uning
Press or button(H20) continuously to select a station downward or upward respectively.
Automatic Tuning
Press and hold or (H20) for more than 3 seconds, the radio automatically searches a station downward or upward respectively and plays when it finds a station.
Selecting Station Directly
Press GOTO (H2), and the monitor shows FREQ, then press the Number to input the valid frequency, then the station will be played.
• It is only valid when GOTO FREQ is on in main menu.
Scanning/Memorizing Stations Automatically
• By AMS button
Press AMS button(H4) to scan each stored station 6 seconds respectively which stored in Number Buttons (from 1 to 6). Y ou can press the corresponding Num­ber Buttons or AMS button when your station is charged. And it starts playing the station. When press and hold AMS for more than 2 seconds, it will activate automatically memory storing. The radio automatically selects a station and has it stored in any one of Number Buttons. (from1 to 6).
Note:
- The unit can be stored up to 6 stations each band.
- Press AMS in the monitor also performs the same function.
By Number buttons
Press Number Buttons (H23) to receive the stored stations. During radio status, Number Buttons (from 1 to 6) can help you store your favor­ite station.
1. When receiving a station, press and hold any one of the Number Buttons (from 1 to 6) until the preset number appears on the LCD, which indicates that station is already stored in the corresponding number button.
2. Press and hold AMS button to receive stations automatically, and store them in 1 to 6 number respectively.
3. Press and hold another number button more than 2 seconds when listening in a station in one number buttons, the station will be stored in that number button.
• Press Number buttons in the monitor performs the same function.
On Screen Display
During radio status, press OSD (H8) to setup, or press and hold OSD (H8) to display the edition information. The preset frequency displays as the default setting.
DX/LOC Selector
During radio status, press LOC button (H5) to select strong or weak station reception. “LOC” appears on the display and only local station is available. When it disappears both distance and local stations can be received.
• This function is invalid in MW tuning.
Selecting the Stored Station
During radio status, press button (H20) to select the stored station upward, press (H20) to select the stored station downward.
MO/ST Selector
During radio status, you can press ST (H6) button on the remote control to select MONO mode or STEREO mode. Stereo reception is charged when “Stereo” appears. It is switched to MONO mode when “Stereo” disappears.
• It is only valid in FM tuning.
RDS Setup
1.
AF
Press it to activate AF function.

TA
Press it to activate TA function.

/ Press it to select PTY CODE.

PTY
Press it to activate PTY function.
5.
During PTY ON, press this button to search the playing track s type.

BACK
Press it to turn to listening to the radio. There can not be out of TP

PS:
TO display the current RDS station’s programs information.

SEARCH+/SEARCH Press it to tune automatically.
Alternative Frequencies
Briefly press 26 AF to activate the auto searching station function. When AF is on, the RDS signal is weak or there is not, it will be found in the preseted fre­quencies and the whole bands.
Note:
* It is also performed by pressing 1 in the monitor.
Traffic Alarm
Briefly press 25 T A to activate the traffic alarm function. When AF is on, there is TA displays on screen, or else, if there is no TP information, the mode will search TA station automatically. The TA is green when it is played by a station, if not, it is yellow.When TA is playing, the volume will be adjusted to a TA level automatically.When in other modes(such as DVD, AUX), if a TA program is played. The mode will skip to the RDS status automatically. It will resume to the primary mode after the T A is over.
Note: Press 2 in the monitor performs the same function. When TA is off, there no TA on screen.

Program T yp e
Briefly press 7 PTY to activate PTY function. When PTY is on, PTY ON appears in the monitor, you can press UP/DOWN to select the program type, and then press PTY CODE to search the special program. And the screen displays PTY SEARCH. If PTY is off, PTY OFF appears in the monitor , the searching is stopped.
Note: * It is also performed by pressing 4 in the monitor.
SD CARD / USB PLAYBACK
Insert a SD card or USB: Press REL (7) when the unit is on. And when the TFT
slanted, insert a SD card into SD slot (11). Insert a USB flash disc into USB cable. Then the programs will be played. When playing PIC file, press (H18) and / on the monitor to select the option. Notes when exiting a SD card or USB:
• During SD mode or USB mode, the main unit would switch to Disc or TUNER mode directly when exit the SD card or USB.
• During other modes, press SD card or USB to quit, the main unit will keep the previous mode.
Note:
• At anytime when unit work with memory card, make sure the SD card has been properly inserted & locked in the card slot before you attempt to do any operation. To avoid damage, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR FLASH MEMORY CARD IN UN LOCK CONDITION.
• This unit might not support all the SD cards or USB.
• The unit might not support all the multimedia files stored in SD card or USB because it includes some special playback procedure which might not be compatible with the procedure of this unit.
• If disc, SD or USB stopped playback, please eject disc or change the play source. If it still doesn’t work, please check the content inside disc, SD or USB; you can also try another disc, SD or USB.
• If above solution still doesn’t work, please reset the unit.
AUX
Press SRC (1/H1) to switch to the Aux mode. In Aux mode, select AUX SET to adjust AUDIO, VIDEO and VIDEO FORMATE (Auto 1:P AL, NTSC, SECAM), (Auto 2: P-M, P-N).

DVD PLAYBACK SETTING
GOTO a desired section For DVD
Press the GOTO button (H2) to set the playing time, the TFT (13) shows: Title / Chapter / Audio/ Subtitle / Angle / TT time/ CH time / Repeat / Time Display. Press / button (H20) to select options, then press ENTER (H20) to set the status. Press number buttons (H23) to set the current status.
For CD disc Press the GOTO button (H2) repeatedly to enter different GOTO modes. Disc time:--:-- Input desired time of the disc Track time :--:-- Input desired time of the track
For VCD disc
Press the GOTO button (H2) to set the playing time, the TFT (12) shows: Track/ Disc time / Track time / Repeat / Time Display. Press / button (H20) to select options, then press ENTER (H20) to set the status. Press number buttons (H23) to set the current status.
For MP3/SD/USB Press the GOTO button (H2), repeatedly to enter different GOTO modes.

Note: Press CLEAR (H22) to clear the mistake input. Changing the viewing angle(Multi-angle)
For the DVDs with multi-angle recording feature (scenes shot from multiple angles), you can press ANGLE (H7) to switch among viewing angles during playback. Selection as follows: ANGLE 1—ANGLE 2—ANGLE 3……
1). The mark “ ” on a DVD’s package indicates it features multi-angle
scenes. The number in the mark indicates the number of angles from which scenes were shot.
2). It is invalid to pressing ANGLE during fast forward/fast reverse or pause.

Changing audio language (Multi-audio)
For DVDs/MPEG-4 discs with multi-audio recordings function, you can press AUDIO (H6) to switch between language and audio systems during playback.
Selection as follows: AUDIO 1— AUDIO 2— AUDIO 3......
• The number in the mark “ ” on a DVD’s package indicates the number of recorded languages/audio systems.
Changing the subtitle language (Multi-subtitle)
For DVDs/MPEG-4 discs with multi-subtitle recordings function, you can press SUB-T (H5) to switch between subtitle languages during playback. Selection as follows: Subtitles 1— Subtitles 2—…— Subtitles off.
• The number in the mark “ ” on a DVD’s package indicates the number of recorded subtitle anguages.
Selecting MENU
1. Selecting Menu: During DVD status, press MENU (H4) to return to the root menu. Press ENTER (H20) or number (H23) button to select your desired chapter.
2. Selecting T itle: During DVD status, press TITLE (H3) to return the title menu. Press ENTER (H20) or (H23) button to select your desired title.
DVD Program and Title selection
When DVD program menu or title menu appears, you can press the menu or title directly on the screen to select; Or, If the touch menu options invalid or the disc dose not suport touch-TITLE, a remote control will display on the screen. Press to left,press to right, press to up, press to down and press to ENTER.
Playback control (VCD)
Press the TITLE button (H3) to access the PBC menu. Select your desired track by number buttons. To cancel PBC playing, press TITLE button (H3) again. * PBC playing confirms to version 2.0 or above disc only.
Setting Channel (VCD)
During VCD mode, repeatedly press AUDIO (H6) to select the following channel: Stereo-> Mono left-> Mono right.

Set Up Main Menu
Press and hold SETUP (H19) button (only in Aux & Radio mode), the setting picture appears as below.
T ouch the icon on the monitor directly to set corresponding status.

In this menu you can adjust COLOR, TINT,BRIGHT, CONTRAST PICTURE.
You can adjust VOLUME, SUBWOOF, BALANCE, FAD, BASS, TREBLE. Press to select, and then press and to adjust.
Picture Adjust Press PICTURE in this menu, it will
appear as follows:
Press EXIT to exit this menu. Note: Adjusting the other options perform the same operation.
Press and to adjust the size, then press SAVE to save the setup, press EXIT to exit this menu. Note: Adjusting the other options per­form the same operation.

In this menu you can adjust CLOCK SYS, KEY BEEP and so on. Note: If the item display in yellow, then it cannot be set up.
Key Beep In this menu you can adjust KEY BEEP,
In this menu you can adjust KEY BEEP, press it in the monitor and se­lect ON or OFF, the default setting is ON, it means when you press the keys, they sounded.
In this menu, you can adjust all items to be ON or OFF.
Clock System
Press CLOCK SYSTEM in the monitor to set 12 HOUR or 24 HOUR in this menu.
Tips: Press to display the menu follows, press to display the previ­ous one.
Reverse Pola
Setting REVERSE POLA in this menu. The signal is +12V when you back a car, please press BATTERY in the monitor; if the signal is 0V, please press GROUND.
AMS Fullup
In this menu to set the modes of AMS. When the setup is ON, the presettable stations are full, no news is allowed. When you select OFF, it will search­ing continually.
Lamp SEL
In this menu you can adjust LAMP SEL, press it in the monitor and se­lect ON or OFF, the default setting is ON.
Local Area
You can select EUROPE or USA or OIRT to search the stations quickly by your current area. For example, when you are in West Europe, you can select EUROPE, and when you are in East Europe, you can select OIRT.
Local
In this menu to search the LOCAL stations, when selected ON, the strong signal local stations can be received, when selected OFF, the week signal out-of-town stations may be received.
RT Scroll
T o select your desired speed, SLOW, NORMAL, FAST. The default setting is NORMAL.
Goto FREQ
To select ON, you can using GOTO button on the remote control to select a station’s frequency directly in radio mode.
TA V olume
T o select your desired volume, LOW , NORMAL, HIGH. The default setting is NORMAL.
REGION
To set the AF searching region, the default setting is ON.
Clock Adjust
Press CLOCK ADJ in the monitor to adjust the clock.
Ajust Screen
Press ADJ SCREEN to display the above menu,there are a square but­ton in the top left corner . Press the square button at place(1),then the button will move to place(2), press it at place(2), it will move to place(3), then place(4), press SA VE at last.
DVD Setup Menu

Note on discs
• Do not use irregular shape CDs (example: heart-shaped, octagonal ones). It

• If there is a scratch, dirt or fingerprints on the disc, it may cause tracking error. Before playing, clean the disc with a cleaning cloth. Wipe the disc from the center out. Don’t store discs in places with high temperatures or high humidity, they can become warped. After playing, store the disc in its case.
Replacing the Fuse
Make sure the amperage matches the specified value when replacing the fuses. If the fuse is blown, check the power connection and replace with a new one. If the same problem occurs, it would be subjected to the malfunction in-house. In such cases, please consult the nearest service dealer.
Warning
Never use the fuse with the rated amperage more than that supplied to your unit, otherwise it will damage the unit.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
The following checklist might help to solve the problems which you meet when using the unit. Please double check and make sure if the connection and the procedure of the operation is properly before using the checklist below.
Problem
No power.
Some errors occur in the LCD or no function when pressing the button.
Unable to receive stations.
Poor effect on receiving a station.
CDs cannot be loaded.
Sound skips. No images.
Images skip.
Cause/Solution
Check and make sure whether the fuse is blown, replace with proper value if necessary.
Press RESET button.
Check and make sure whether the antenna is inserted or the antenna is properly connected, if not, insert the antenna or connect it properly.
Antenna may not be the proper length. Make sure the antenna is fully extended; if broken, replace the antenna with a new one.
The antenna is poorly grounded, check and make sure the antenna is properly grounded at its mounting location.
A CD is loaded in the mechanism or remove screen.
The CD is dirty or damaged. The Video line from main unit to the TV is not
connected properly. Improper setting of the color system. Set the
color system to “PAL” or “NTSC” according to the connected television
