Remove the pusher (C), lid (A), grater filter (D) and pulp tank (E).
Clean all the accessories in warm water with added detergent and then dry them before installing
them on the appliance again.
You can use a juicer to extract the juice of almost all hard or soft fruit and vegetables. It is however impossible to extract juice from bananas, coconuts, avocado pears, blackberries, figs and aubergines, etc.
A – Using the Juicer
1. Correctly assemble the components E – D – A as shown in figure 2.
2. Cut the fruit or vegetables into pieces and remove cores and stones.
3. Place a glass under the pouring spout to collect the juice.
4. Connect the appliance.
5.Start up the appliance by setting switch G to position G2 (fig. 3).
6. Select the speed according to the fruit used (see table below) using button I (according to model) (fig. 4).
7. Remove the pusher, feed the fruit or vegetables in pieces into the funnel.
Introduce fruit and vegetables only when the motor is running.
8. Push the food down with the pusher without forcing. Do not use any other utensil to do so. Above all DO
NOT PUSH WITH YOUR FINGERS. The juice will flow from the pouring spout into the glass while the pulp
will accumulate in the pulp tank (E) .
9. Once your glass is full, stop the appliance by setting the switch G to position G1 (fig. 3).
10. Once the pulp tanks seems to be full or the flow of juice slows down, empty the pulp tank and clean the
filter if necessary.

After every 2 minute sequence of use, turn your juicer off and leave at to rest for 2 minutes. Maximum
use in a session: 10 cycles of 2 minutes respecting the recommended periods of rest.
The quality and quantity of juices vary considerably according to the date of harvest and the variety of each
vegetable or fruit. The quantities of juice indicated above are therefore approximate.
B – Cleaning
1. At end of use, you are advised to clean the accessories quickly to avoid food drying onto them. Apart from
the motor unit (H) all accessories can go into the dishwasher (top basket).
2. Your juicer has a built-in power cord storage recess (J) in the motor unit (fig. 6).
C – Practical tips
1. Choose ripe, fresh fruit and vegetables
2. Carefully wash the fruit before cutting it up into pieces and remove stones.
3. Peel thick-skinned fruit: citrus fruit, melons (remove the seeds) and pineapple (remove the hard, central
part)
4. The juicier the fruit (as with tomatoes) the slower the speed you should use (see table for information
above)
5. If you prepare juice from grapes, quinces, bilberries or blackcurrants, you should clean the filter every time
you process 1/2 kg.
6. If you juice over-ripe fruit, you will obtain a fairly thick liquid, the filter will tend to get clogged up and you
should then clean it more regularly. You will also have to empty the pulp container more or less often
according to the quality of the fruit or vegetables processed.
7. Important: all juices should be drunk immediately. When they come into contact with the air, they oxidise
very quickly and this may impair their taste and colour. Apple and pear juice quickly takes on a brown colour.
Add a few drops of lemon to prevent the juice going brown too quickly I.
D – Safety system
This appliance has an exclusive Moulinex safety system. To start up the juicer, the lid (A) must be perfectly
positioned in the slots (fig. 5). There is no way you can remove it during operation. At the end of the cycle,
set switch G to position G1 (fig. 3) and wait for the grater sieve (D) to come to a complete stop (D) before
removing the lid.

11. Practical tips:

IV Maintenance
Your juicer’s grater sieve is an extremely delicate part and you should treat it with care. Avoid any rough
handling that could damage it. Replace your sieve as soon as you see signs of wear or
damage. You will find the part at the approved centres shown in the handbook. In all cases, plan for its
replacement every 2 years on average if you use your appliance daily.
- Check your appliance’s connection to the socket.
- Check that the lid (A) is correctly positioned (fig. 5)
- If the problems persists, contact your usual retailer or an approved service centre.
- Always keep the appliance out of reach of children. Prevent children from using it.
- Let rotating parts come to a complete stop before opening the appliance.
- Always use the pusher to guide food into the funnel. Never insert your fingers, a fork, knife, spatula
or any other object.
- Disconnect the appliance’s plug after each use.
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid. Do not rinse.
- Do not exceed the maximum quantities or duration for operation shown in the recipe table.
- Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.
- This appliance complies with applicable technical rules and standards.
- It is designed to run on alternating current only. Check that your mains voltage corresponds to
that shown on the appliance’s rating plate before first using it.
- Do not place or use the appliance on a hot-plate or close to a flame (gas cooker).
- Only use the product on a stable work surface sheltered from splashes of water.
- Disconnect the appliance:
* if the appliance does not operate correctly
* before each cleaning or maintenance operation
* after use
- Never pull the power cord to disconnect the appliance.
- Before using an extension, always first make sure it is in good condition.
- Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped.
- If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their after-sales service or a
person with similar qualification to avoid any danger.
