To care for your Motorola phone, please keep it away from:

Don’t expose your phone to water, rain, extreme humidity, sweat, or other moisture. If it does get wet, don’t try to accelerate drying with the use of an oven or dryer, as this may damage the phone.

New batteries are not fully charged. Before you can use your phone, you need to install and charge the battery. Some batteries perform best after several full charge/discharge cycles.
To charge using the charger:

With your phone’s flip closed, you can use touch sensitive buttons to play music or use the camera.
To activate the music player or resume music playback after closing the flip

It is recommended that you use the Lock Key to lock the touch sensitive buttons when you are not using the camera or music player (see page 29). This helps save battery charge by preventing you from

You can use your phone’s handsfree speaker to make calls without holding the phone to your ear.

You will hear an audible alert, and your phone will show the speakerphone indicator
