Motorola VT2000 User Manual

Just attach a VT2000 Series Voice Gateway to a broadband modem through the built-in Ethernet port and plug in a standard telephone. In no time at all, you can be surfing the Web and talking on the phone—all using the same Internet connection.
The VT2000 Series products are portable and plug into any broadband connection. They provide up to two lines of traditional analog telephone service over a cable or DSL link. Voice traffic is prioritized over Internet traffic, giving you high-quality voice calls even while browsing the Web. The VT2000 Series also offers rich CLASS features for enhanced telephony services such as caller ID.
The VT2100 Voice Gateway economically extends your existing home data network to support voice services. With one Ethernet port for connecting a broadband modem, one for connecting a PC or hub, and essential routing features such as Network Address and Port Translation (NAPT) and support for Virtual Private Network (VPN) pass-through, the VT2100 Voice Gateway is an ideal choice for low-cost VoIP.
The VT2400 Advanced Voice Gateway adds advanced routing features and four Ethernet LAN ports, allowing you to connect multiple PCs without the need for a standalone hub or router. The VT2400 also includes a firewall to help protect your network against external attacks.
The VT2500 Wireless Voice Gateway offers all the features of the VT2400, with the added convenience of a built-in
802.11b/g wireless access point for wireless access to broadband services. It eliminates the need for stand-alone routers, hubs, and access points and provides a single platform for connecting telephones and PCs to a broadband link.
