Tips for Water-Proofing
& Resisting Natural Elements
Your phone is designed to be water-proof (up to 30
minutes at 1 meter depth) and to resist blowing rain,
humidity, blowing dust, salt fog, and high & low
temperatures. However, you need to make sure that you
close and lock the battery door and seal the connector
covers to prevent damage.

: Defects or damage from misuse, accident, abuse or neglect,
including damage caused from incorrectly securing the phone’s protective
elements or subjecting the phone to conditions beyond its stated limits is not
covered by the Motorola warranty.

When you close the battery door, press it so that it is
tightly closed and there are no gaps. Lock the door, then
push the door down again
