Problem:

During the V70 100 EMEA analysis there was a speaker distortion issue highlighted. The distortion was
caused by foreign material in the speaker (see Figure 1).

Solution:

The Development team is currently investigating V70 speaker distortion failures to help identify an
effective corrective action. Once the corrective action is made available a further Field bulletin will be
released to the field highlighting the fix.

Service Action:

If a unit is returned with the customer complaint of distorted audio, verify if foreign material is in the
speaker. If foreign material is present then the unit should have the entire blade assembly replaced (Blade
assembly Part Number: SHN8108A Midnight Blue, SHN8107A White)
