Subject

Hardware-wise C115 has no capability to switch its headset port to data
communication mode automatically.

To switch the phone manually, below process needs to be followed:

1. Connect serial data communication cable to PC and C115 headset plug

2. Turn on phone and wait for idle display

3. Enter **16379# to open the “Trace Switch” menu

4. In the menu, go to “Tool” and press “Select”

5. Start communicating with Compal ServiceTool

After restarting the phone the selection must be repeated.
