Congratulations on purchasing the
LS355 Numeric Pager by Motorola®.
Your new pager is reliable, convenient,
and designed for easy operation.
This guide describes how to use and
care for your pager and provides helpful suggestions for first-time and experienced users.

Capabilities
• Display: up to 12 digits at once.
Maximum 20 digits per message.
Message number and time message was received are displayed at
the end of message.
• Memory: Stores up to 16 messages.
• Simple to use: only one button acti-
vates all pager functions.
• Alert methods: vibration, tone, or
melody. 7 different alerting tones.
• Unread message indicator.
• Delete one or all messages.
• Warns that memory is full when
there are more than 16 messages.
• Time display: 12 or 24 hour mode.
• Built-in backup power: When chang-
ing the battery, the message and
time are stored in memory for up to
20 seconds. After 20 seconds, messages are lost and the time must be
reset.

Battery Information
Your pager is designed to operate with
a single AA-size alkaline battery.
Always ensure that polarity (+ and -)
markings on battery match diagram
beside the battery compartment
when changing the battery.
Caution: Do not insert the battery
backwards or the messages stored in
memory will be erased.
Installing or replacing battery
1. Turn the pager off.
2. Unlock the battery door lock by sliding
the door latch away from the battery
door.

3. Slide the battery door in the direction of
the arrow (toward the outer edge).
4. Lift the outer edge of the battery door
to open. Remove battery.
5. To install a new battery, reverse this
procedure, taking note of the positive
(+) and negative (-) markings.
