xiii
Never coil a power cord.
Always route a power cord, communication, and antenn
a cables to avoid damaged.
Avoid damage to the MW810 Mobile Workstation by follow-
ing basic safety instructions:
Your MW810 Mobile Workstation generates heat when turned
on. Never block or cover ventilation openings.
The MW810 Mobile Workstation is very sensitive to uncont
rolled shut down. Never turn off the MW810 Mobile Workstation by turning off the power supply or by disconnection of the power cable.
The CPU Box has an internal CMOS battery. The CMOS batter
y can degrade if your MW810 Mobile Workstation is unused for more than 3 months. Leaving a battery in a discharged state could shorten the lifetime of the battery.
Hard disk drive performance and lifetime could be shortened if your MW810 Mobile Workstation is not used for long per
iods. Do not leave the MW810 Mobile Worksta-
tion unused for more than 3 months.
Your MW810 Mobile Workstation automatically shuts down when the
internal temperature exceeds the upper limit of the valid range. The MW810 Mobile Workstation returns to normal operation when it cools down.
Your MW810 Mobile Workstation dissipates heat during normal
operation. When your MW810 Mobile Workstation is functioning, do not allow it to come in contact with an
