All Morphy Richards products are individually tested
before leaving the factory. In the unlikely event of any
appliance proving to be faulty within 28 days of
purchase it should be returned to the place of purchase
for it to be replaced.
If the fault develops after 28 days and within 24
months of original purchase, you should contact the
Helpline number quoting Model number and Serial
number on the product, or write to the address below.
You will be asked to return the product (in secure,
adequate packaging) to the address below along
with a copy of proof of purchase. Subject to the
exclusions set out below (see ‘Exclusions’) the faulty
appliance will then be repaired or replaced and
dispatched usually within 7 working days of receipt.
If for any reason this item is replaced during the 2
year guarantee period, the guarantee on the new
item will be calculated from original purchase date.
Therefore it is vital to retain your original till receipt or
invoice to indicate the date of initial purchase.
To qualify for the 2 year guarantee the appliance
must have been used according to the
manufacturers instructions. For example kettles
should have been regularly descaled or an iron cord
should have been stored as recommended by the
instructions.
EXCLUSIONS
Morphy Richards shall not be liable to replace
or repair the goods under the terms of the
Guarantee where:
1 The fault has been caused or is attributable to
accidental use, misuse, negligent use or used
contrary to the manufacturers recommendations
or where the fault has been caused by power
surges or damage caused in transit.
2 The appliance has been used on a voltage
supply other than that stamped on the
products.
3 Repairs have been attempted by persons other
than our service staff (or authorised dealer).
4 Where the appliance has been used for hire
purposes or non-domestic use.
5 Morphy Richards are not liable to carry out any
type of servicing work, under the guarantee.
6 Plastic filters for all Morphy Richards kettles
and coffee makers are not covered by the
guarantee.
This guarantee does not confer any rights other
than those expressly set out above and does not
cover any claims for consequential loss or damage.

The T oledo Multi-Chopper box contains sharp
blades. Be careful when unpacking it.
Carefully unpack your new multi-chopper and
its attachments checking them against the

Before using your multi-chopper, wash the
glass bowl, chopping blade, anti-spill cover and
whisk attachment in warm soapy water. Dry
thoroughly.
Y our T oledo multi-function chopper can chop,
whisk and blend.
Chopping and Blending
1 Place the nonslip pad (flat face up) on
a flat surface and position the glass bowl
on top of it.
2 Place the chopping blade over the
shaft in the centre of the glass
bowl.
3 Place the food items to be chopped or
blended in the glass bowl . Refer to
the processing guide (page 7) for
quantities.
4 Place the anti-spill cover inside the rim
of the glass bowl aligning the ridges in
the rim with the indents in the cover.
The cover should fit securely inside the rim
when correctly positioned.
5 Place the motor housing on top of the
bowl so that the on/off switch is
either in line with the handles of the bowl
or at 90o. The motor housing will drop
down and will not rotate when correctly
positioned.
6 Insert the plug into the power outlet and
then turn the power on.
7 Hold down the motor housing with
one hand, and press down on the on/off
switch with the other hand to activate
the chopper. Use short pulses until the
desired consistency is achieved.
The T oledo is a powerful 400w multi-chopper
which is designed for intermittent use.
Do not operate non-stop for more than 10
seconds. Allow unit to cool down
between pulses.
If the ingredients stick to the sides of the
bowl during chopping, scrape down the sides
of the bowl with a spatula, then continue
chopping.
CAUTION : Do not operate the appliance
when the bowl is empty.
8 When you have finished chopping or
blending turn the power off at the power
outlet. Remove the motor housing and
anti-spill cover from the bowl. Carefully
remove the chopping blade . You can now
empty the contents of the bowl.

Whisking
1 Place the nonslip pad on a flat surface

3 Pour the liquid to be whisked/aerated into the
glass bowl . Do not exceed the maximum
level 200ml only.
4 Place the anti-spill cover inside the rim

the rim with the indents in the cover. The
cover should fit securely inside the rim when
correctly positioned.
5 Place the motor housing on top of the
bowl so that the on/off switch is
either in line with the handles of the bowl or at

The table below provides a guide to processing times for a variety of foods. We recommend you use
short bursts or pulses to avoid over-processing.
Do not hold the on/off switch down to process continuously for more than 10 seconds at
any one time. Allow the motor to cool between 10 second pulses.

Dishwasher Safe
The chopping blade, glass bowl, cover and
whisking attachment are dishwasher safe for
added convenience. The glass bowl may be
stored in your refridgerator or freezer.
•The whisk attachment with air holes is ideal for whisking egg whites and cream.

2 ripe avocados, peeled and quartered
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
dash tabasco sauce
pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
Using the chopping blade pulse all ingredients
until smooth.
/4 cup lemon juice
4 cloves garlic
1 sprig parsley
pinch paprika
Using the chopping blade, pulse all ingredients
until smooth.
Hollandaise Sauce
3 egg yolks
1 tablespoon lemon juice
125g unsalted butter
salt and pepper to taste
Using the whisking attachment, combine the egg
yolks and lemon juice for 10 seconds.
Melt butter until bubbling. Add butter to egg and
lemon mixture and blend until well combined.
Serve over freshly cooked asparagus, seafood, or
broccolli.
Warning : Raw eggs are not recommended for
pregnant women, your children and the elderly.
/4 green capsicum, roughly chopped
black pepper to taste
Using the chopping blade, combine lemon juice,
rind, shallots, garlic and sauce, and pulse until
smooth.
Add capsicum and pepper and blend until
capsicum is finely chopped.
Serve over fresh garden salad.
Preheat oven to 150o C. Line a baking tray with
greaseproof paper.
Using the whisking attachment, process all
ingredients for 10 seconds or until stiff and
glossy.
Pile onto prepared tray and bake for 20 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 120o C and continue
baking for 40 minutes, or until crisp and dry.
Turn oven off, and allow pavlova to cool in oven.
Decorate with whipped cream, custard and fresh
fruit.
1 tablespoon honey
Using the chopping blade, pulse all ingredients 10
times or until smooth.
Serve sprinkled with nutmeg.
Other fruits such as strawberries can also be
used.
Iced Coffee
1 tablespoon instant coffee dissolved in boiling
water

100ml whipped cream
Using the chopping blade, blend all ingredients
except cream for 5 seconds. Pour into glasses.
Using the whisking attachment, whip the cream
for 10 seconds, or until thick.
T op the milk with whipped cream and sprinkle
with drinking chocolate.
