Please read and observe the following safety points at all times.
WARNING
Ensure that your amplifier and receiver is switched off before connecting the speakers.
Make sure that you have connected the plus (+) and minus (–) terminals of each speaker to the
corresponding plus (+) and minus (–) terminals on the amplifier or receiver.
Before connecting the subwoofer to a power outlet, make sure that the operating voltage of your local
power supply is identical to that specified for the subwoofer (
20v U.S. and CAN).
Ensure the subwoofer is off before connecting the input signal cable on its internal amplifier.
Make sure that all screws on the binding posts are snug, especially if you are using bare speaker wires.
Contact between bare speaker wires may cause short-circuit and can potentially damage your equipment.
Continuously driving a low power amplifier at high power levels can cause distortion of the signal,
amplifier clipping and may cause severe damage to your speakers. High power amplifiers will deliver
better performance.
Do not drive speaker units with a continuous wattage exceeding the maximum power indicated in this
instruction manual for each speaker model.
For the best performance possible use the high quality speaker and interconnect cables.
Do not place loudspeakers in dusty or humid environments.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
