Multi-key function
A terminal programmed in multi-key mode can have only one directory number, but has
personalised keys to enable it to process several calls at the same time. Therefore, you
can answer your parties as the calls arrive and display the calls on hold.
The number of personalised keys programmed corresponds to the number of calls which
you want to have at the same time. Example: for three simultaneous calls, program the
multi-key function on three keys.
Note: this function will be programmed by your system operator. Using an expansion
module gives an immediate view of the programmed keys, regardless of whether th e
terminal is idle or communicating.
Communicating with the multi-key function

the calling party’s identity.
• Press this key to talk to the contact.
-> The indicator associated to this key stays permanently on.
Note: For this first call, you can also pick up the handset or use
the loudspeaker key or the green key. The programmed key now
lights up permanently in the same way.

Multi-line function
A multi-line terminal has several has several directory numbers*. Each directory number is
stored on a programmed key.
This function is mainly used to program on the same terminal:
- a standard number that you give to everyone.
- a private number that you only give to some people; this can also be an emergency
number.
Examples :
For a manager, - the unfiltered private number,
- the number filtered by his assistant.
For an assistant, - the private number of his/her own calls,
- The number for receiving filtered calls of the manager.
Note: this function will be programmed by your system operator. Using an expansion
module gives an immediate view of the programmed keys, regardless of whether th e
terminal is idle or communicating.
When your terminal is programmed in multi-line function, you can use the features you
want by assigning them to the directory numbers that you have. Each directory number can
also be programmed in multi-key mode (managing double calls).
You have a voice mailbox associated with each directory number. Forwarding is
programmed independently and with secret access codes that may be different.
Please note that certain procedures described in this guide are different when your
terminal is programmed in multi-line mode. An additional step is required for the
programming of certain features, for example:
- selection of the line to be connected in case of multiple calls
- selection of the line to be connected when programming a speed-dial key
- or selection of the line to be routed (Forward menu).
In all cases, follow the instructions shown on screen .

At the moment, you are occupying an office equipped with a general-purpose terminal (not
assigned to a subscriber). You can take your calls, programmed forwards as well as the
language associated with your subscriber number from there.
When you get back to your office, you will use the same procedure to retrieve your calls on
your own terminal, as well as its configuration (forwards, programmable keys, terminal
settings, etc.).
If, however, you no longer want your subscription to be associated with the temporary
terminal when you leave your office, you can release your terminal by carrying out a logout
procedure on this terminal. The temporary terminal becomes a general-purpose terminal
again. Calls can be made from this terminal. You can later retrieve your subscriber
number and the associated rights on your own terminal by logging on again.
The procedure described below applies in the same way on a multi-line terminal.
Restoring your subscriber rights on a general-purpose terminal
