About the 7100 Management Access Point
The Mitel Networks 7100 Management Access Point (MAP) provides you with
secure, remote access to the following Mitel Networks systems:
•3300 Integrated Communications Platform (I CP)

The 7100 MAP has a built-in firewall that only allows you access to the site’s Mitel
Networks systems; it does not allow you to access any other devices on the
customer’s LAN.

7100 MAP E/M/S also supports remote connec tions through a dial-up modem, to up
to five IP-based systems . In addi tion , it sup por ts connecti vit y to up to two se rial port
devices through RS-232 serial connections.
7100 MAP E/M/S/U provides the same IP- and serial-system access as the E/M/S
