Quick Start Guide
for heat pump tumble dryer T 8827 WP
These short instructions are not a substitute for the Operating instructions supplied with the appliance.
Please read the Operating instructions supplied with your tumble dryer before using it for the first time and take note of the Warning and Safety instructions as well as the full descriptions on how to use your machine.

Brief instructions
A Preparing the laundry
Make sure that objects, e.g.
,
detergent dispensing balls, have been removed from the laundry.
Sort the laundry (e.g. according to
^
the drying level required, the type of fibre or weave).
Pay attention to the manufacturers' information on the care labels:
s Do not tumble dry. r/q Suitable for all programmes.
B Switch on the tumble dryer with
the jk button.
C Loading the tumble dryer
^ Press the Door button and open the
door.
^ Load the laundry loosely into the
drum.
^ Close the door.
D Turn the programme selector
The relevant indicator light will come
on.
Indicator lights for drying levels or
Extras and times may also be displayed.
Programmes with drying levels
Check the laundry is right inside the drum so that it cannot get trapped or damaged when the door is shut.

Press the button repeatedly until the relevant indicator light comes on (with almost all programmes).
Cool air/Warm air programmes
^
Press the Delay start button repeatedly until the required duration appears in the display.
Cool air: 20 minutes up to i:00 hour.
Warm air: 20 minutes up to 2:00 hours.
E Select Extras / Delay start (if
required)
By pressing the relevant button, you
^
can select: Gentle tumble (for items which are not suitable for drying with a great deal of mechanical action), Buzzer.
Delay start is not possible in combination with Warm air/Cool air.
Press the Delay start button
^
repeatedly until the required delay period appears in the display.
30 minutes up to 24 hours.
F Start the programme by pressing
the Start button
G Remove the laundry when the
programme has finished
^ Press the Door button and open the
door.
^ Remove the laundry.
^ Switch off the tumble dryer with the
jk button.
^
Clean the fluff filters.
^
Close the door.
^
Empty the condensed water container.

Clean fluff filters after every programme.

Fabric type
"Voluminous" and multi-layered fabrics whose layers have
different drying characteristics: e.g. jackets, pillows. For drying individual items, e.g. bath towels, swimwear, tea
towels and small loads.
Notes
Do not select the longest drying time to start with. Check the
items as you are drying them to find the optimum time. Use Warm air to eliminate or reduce unwanted smells in clean
cotton clothing (Duration: 1/2-1 hour). Dampen the garments a little beforehand or add a fabric conditioner sheet. The Warm air programme will not be as effective at removing odours from any parts of the garments which are made of synthetic fibres.
Gentle tumble – Select this programme for items which are not suitable for
drying with a great deal of mechanical action.
Gentle smoothing Max. load: 1 kg*
Fabric type – Cotton and linen fabrics.
– Minimum iron items made of cotton, synthetic or mixed fibres.
For example: trousers, anoraks, shirts.
Notes – Suitable for dry and damp laundry/fabrics.
Smoothes out creasing caused during the spin cycle in the washing machine.
Remove garments as soon as the programme has finished so that they are easy to iron.
