Instructions for your Washer-disinfector carefully. You should only process mi crotitre plates / blood analysis plates in this mobile unit if they have been decla red as suitable for machine processing by the manufacturer. Please also obser ve the manufacturer's care instructions. The programme selected must be suit able for the materials from which the microtitre plates / blood analysis plates are made. The final rinse should, if possible, always be carried out with fully de-mi neralised water.

Areas of application:
The mobile injector unit E 493 when used with insert E 494 is designed for cleaning and disinfecting microtitre plates / blood analysis plates in a G 7836 or a PG 8536 washer-disinfector.
The bottom spray arm in the washer-disinfector has be to be replaced by a spe cial spray arm in order to supply water to the mobile injector unit.
Important for plastic microtitre plates / blood analysis plates:
Please note that for microtitre plates / blood analysis plates made from plastics such as polycarbonate, polyacrylic, polystyrene, etc:
Use a cleaning agent with hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide based oxidising
action.
Do not use cleaning agents and anti-foaming agents which contain tensides
,
and/or silicone oils.
Use citric-acid based neutralising agents.Use a cleaning programme with 1-2 cold pre-rinses.Do not exceed a temperature of 55 °C in cleaning and rinsing programme
blocks.
Empty residual water out of cavities and indentations by hand before drying.When drying in a washer-disinfector with a separate drying programme, the
temperature should not exceed 65°C.
When drying in a drying cupboard, the temperature should be set at a maximum of 55°C.

Arrange two E 494 inserts on each level of the mobile unit.

Arranging the microtitre plates in insert E 494:

Push the microtitre plates with the openings facing downwards into the insert holders.
Fitting the special E 493 spray arm:
The bottom spray arm in the washer-disinfector has to be replaced by a special spray arm in order to supply water to the mobile injector unit. To do this:

Loosen thumb nut A in the middle of the spray arm.

Then take spray arm B off.
^
Unscrew inlet pipe C.

Screw the special spray arm into the washer­disinfector.
