WARNINGS:
1. Read Instruc tions - All the safety a nd operatin g instructio ns must be read be fore the produ ct is operated.
2. Retain Instr uctions - The saf ety and operat ing instruct ions should be kept product fo r future reference.
3. Heed warni ngs - All warnings on th e product and in the operating i nstructions should be adhe red to.
4. Follow instruct ions - All operatin g and use instru ctions should be followed.
5. Installati on - Install in accordance wit h the manufacturer's instr uctions.
6. Power source s - This product s hould be opera ted only from th e type of power so urce indicated by the marki ng adjacent to
the power cord e ntry. If you are not sure o f the type of powe r supply to your h ome, consult your product de aler or local
power compan y.
7. Grounding or p olarisatio n - the product is not required to b e grounded. Ensure the plug is f ully inserted into the wall ou tlet
or extension c ord receptac le to prevent b lade or pin expo sure. Some ver sions of the pro duct are equipped with a powe r
cord fitted wi th a polarized a lternatin g line plug (a plu g having one bla de wide than the other). This plu g will fit onto th e
power outlet o nly one way. This is a safet y feature. If yo u are unable to in sert the plug fu lly into the outlet, try rever sing
the plug. If the p lug should sti ll fail to fit, co ntact your electrician to re place your obsolete outle t. Do not defeat t he safety
purpose of the p olarised plu g. When using an extension pow er-supply cord or a power-su pply cord other than that
supplied wit h the applianc e ,it should be fitted with the ap propriate moulded-on plu gs and carry safety approval
appropriat e to the country o f use.
8. Power cord prot ection - Power -supply cord s should be routed so that they ar e not likely to be walked on, kink ed or
pinched by ite ms placed on or ag ainst them, paying particu lar attention to cords from pl ugs, receptacles and the poi nt
where they exi t from the appli ance.
9. Overloadi ng - Do not overlo ad wall outlet s, extension cords or multip le sockets, as this can result i n a risk of fire or
electric sho ck.
10. Ventilat ion - The product m ust be properl y ventilated . Do not place the product on a bed , sofa, or other s imilar surfa ce.
Do not cover the p roduct with an y items such as ta blecloths, newspapers , etc.
11. Heat - The p roduct should be situated a way from heat so urces such as ra diators, hea t registers, stoves, or othe r
products) in cluding ampl ifiers that produce heat.N o naked flame sources,such a s lighted candles, should be p laced on
the apparatu s.
12. Water and m oisture - To reduce the risk of f ire or electri c shock, do not expose the produ ct to train, dripping, splas hing or
excessive mo isture such as i n a sauna or bath room. Do not use t his product ne ar waterfor exa mple, near a bathtub,
washbowl, ki tchen sink, la undry tub, in a w et basement, o r near a swimmin g pool and the lik e.
13. Obje ct and Liquid En try - Never push o bjects of any kind into this pro duct through openings, as th ey may touch
dangerous vo ltage points o r short-circuit parts that c ould result i n a fire or electr ic shock. Neve r spill liquid o f any kind on
the product. D o not place any ob ject contai ning liquid on t op of the produc t.
14. Clea ning - Unplug th e product from t he wall outlet before cleani ng. The cabinet of the subwoofe r may be cleane d by
dusting with a d ry cloth. If you w ish to use an aero sol cleaning spray, do not spray dire ctly on the cab inet; spray on to the
cloth. Be care ful not to damag e the drive unit s.
15. Atta chments - Do not u se attachmen ts not recommended by the prod uct manufactures, as they ma y cause hazards.
16. Acce ssories - Do not p lace this prod uct on an unstable cart, stand , tripod, bracket or table. The p roduct may fal l, causing
serious inju ry to a child or adu lt, and serious damage to the pr oduct. Use only with a cart, sta nd, tripod, b racket or tabl e
recommende d by the manufac turer or sold w ith the produc t. Any mounting of the p roduct shoul d follow the manufacturer 's
instructio ns and should us e a mounting ac cessory reco mmended by the m anufacture r.
17. Movi ng the product - A product and c art combinat ion should be moved with care . Quick stops, e xcessive for ce and
uneven surfa ces may cause th e product and c art combinat ion to overtur n.
18. Unus e periods - The pow er cord of the app liance shoul d be unplugged from the outle t during light ning storms or w hen the
apparatus is l eft unused for a l ong period of t ime.
