Your keyboard will give you years of playing pleasure if you follow the simple rules given below:
Location
Do not expose the unit to the following conditions to avoid deformation, discoloration, or more
serious damage.
Power Supply
! Turn the power switch OFF when the instrument is not in use. ! If an AC adaptor is used, it should be unplugged from the AC outlet if the instrument is not to be
used for an extended period of time.
! Unplug the AC adaptor during electric storms. ! Avoid plugging the AC adaptor into the same AC outlet as appliance with high power consumption,
such as electric heaters or ovens. Also avoid using multi-plug adaptors since these can result in reduced sound quality, operation errors, and possibly damage.
Turn Power OFF When Making Connections
! To avoid damage to the instrument and other devices to which it is connected, turn the power
switches of all related device OFF prior to connecting or disconnecting cables.
Handling and Transport
! Never apply excessive force to the controls, connectors or other parts of the instrument. ! Always unplug cables by gripping the plug firmly, but not pulling on the cable. ! Disconnect all cables before moving the instrument. ! Physical shocks caused by dropping, bump-ing, or placing heavy objects on the instru- ment can
result in scratches and more serious damage.
Cleaning
! Clean the cabinet and panel with a dry soft cloth. ! A slightly damp cloth may be used to remove stubborn grime and dirt. ! Never use cleaners such as alcohol or thinner. ! Avoid placing vinyl object on top of the unit (vinyl can stick to and discolor the surface).
Electrical Interference
! This instrument contains digital circuitry and may cause interference if placed too close to radio or
television receivers. If this occurs, move the instrument further away from the affected equipment.
Congratulations on your purchase of this keyboard. It is an easy-to-use keyboard with advanced functions especially in self-learning. The major customers are the children or adults who are the beginners of learning keyboard, and they will be more interested in keyboard performance. In study mode, the customers can learn the songs in 3 different ways by choosing left hand or right hand mode. LCD display makes it easier and more direct for the customers to learn the songs. To make the practising more fun,it has the Grade features that evaluating your performance. Also, numeric musical notation display and Step Record are the other features of this keyboard.

Main Features
Song learning
Learning mode
There are 3 different ways to practise the songs. Lesson 1 Aim at the time practice with grading the time value only. Lesson 2 Aim at the note practice with grading the note value only. Lesson 3 Practice and grade the time and note.
Chord mode
Both single finger detect and fingers detect.
Song
100 at all, from 001 to 100. Learning mode can apply to every songs.
Style
100 at all, from 001 to 100.
Voice
146 at all, including 128 GM Voice, 12 Chinese Voice and 6 Percussion Voice (1 Chinese Percussion)

Note:
Press [YES/+] and [NO/-] together, the default setting will be loaded in the keyboard, and the memory and all the record song will be lost.

Functions of hand choice
You can press the left or right key to select left or right hand mode or both together. The LCD displays the fingering.

It has 8 banks with 6 memories in each bank.

There are 2 record modes: RECORD and STEP RECORD. Each record song has 3 track-1 ACCOMP track and 2 melody tracks.
Chord dictionary
Make it more convenience to the customers to learn the chord, including Dict 1 mode (dictionary mode) and Dict 2 mode(test mode).
Assistant Learning Function
It has the FFW, REW and PAUSE function with guide beat in the song to make it convenience to the customers.
Grade Function
Apply to all 3 learning modes.
LCD Indication
It indicates the note on the staff and keyboard on the LCD display.

Power Supply
This electronic keyboard can be powered by current from a standard household wall outlet (using the specified AC adaptor) or by batteries.
Using the AC adaptor
Make sure that only the AC adaptor specified for this electronic keyboard is used. The adaptor shall be 12V DC output, 2200mA, and center positive type. Be sure to turn off the electronic keyboard before you connect the adaptor into the AC wall outlet and the cord into the unit.
Cautions
Use only the specified AC adaptor. Use of another type of adaptor creates a danger of fire and electrical shock. For safety sake, be sure to unplug the AC adaptor from the wall outlet whenever leaving the electronic keyboard unattended for a long time.
Using batteries

Always make sure to turn the keyboard off before inserting new batteries or replacing old ones.
To insert the batteries
Open the battery compartment on the under side of the keyboard.
Insert 8 "D" size batteries into the battery compartment by following the polarity markings on the cabinet.
Close the battery compartment, make sure the battery compartment cover locks firmly.
Low battery indications
Any of the following symptoms indicate low battery power. Replace the batteries as soon as possible whenever any of the following occurs.
A dim and difficult-to-read LCD display Abnormally low speaker/headphone volume. Distortion of the sound output. Sudden power failure when playing at high volume Abnormal playing of the rhythms or demo songs. Dimming of the display when playing at high volume.

Improper handling of the batteries can cause them to burst or leak, creating the danger of personal injury or damage of the keyboard. Be sure to take the following important precautions when using batteries:
Never use batteries of different types. Never mix old batteries with new ones. Always make sure to remove the batteries from the keyboard's battery compartment. When the keyboard is not expected to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the keyboard. Replace the batteries as soon as possible after any sign of discharge.
The headphone jack
A pair of stereo headphones can be plugged into the PHONES jack for private practice or late night playing. The internal speaker system is auto matically turn off when the headphones is plugged into the PHONES jack. The PHONES jack is in the front .

Cautions
The sustain jack
An optional foot switch can be plugged into the SUSTAIN jack for sustain control. The foot switch functions like the damper pedal on a piano-press for sustain, release for normal sound.
The Aux. Out jack
The AUX. OUT jack delivers the output of the keyboard for connection to an external amplifier. Using an audio cord, plug into AUX. OUT jack located on the rear panel. Then plug the other end of the cord into LINE IN or AUX. IN of the amplifier.

The MIDI IN/OUT jacks
The MIDI IN connector receives MIDI data from an external MIDI device. The MIDI OUT connector transmit MIDI data generated by the electronic keyboard to an external MIDI device.

Selecting & Playing a Voice
The keyboard has 146 voices at all, including 128 GM voice, 12 Chinese voice, and 6 percussion voice.
The default VOICE R1 is No.001. LCD displays : VOICE R1 and the voice name.
Press [+/YES]/[-/NO] key ,rotate the wheel or use the number key to select the voice wanted.

You can split the keyboard to the right (melody part) and left area (accompaniment) in this function.
Press [LOWER VOICE] key to turn on the lower voice, LCD lights the lower voice flag and displays VOICE L and the lower voice name.
Press [+/YES]/[-/NO] key, the wheel or number key to select the lower voice number. The default lower voice number is No. 50: Strings2.
Press [LOWER VOICE] key again to turn off the lower voice. LCD darks the lower voice flag.

Press [SUSTAIN] key to turn on the sustain effect. LCD lights the sustain flag. The keyboard has the sustain effect.
Press [SUSTAIN] key again to turn off the sustain effect.LCD darks the sustain flag.
When set the pedal as the sustain pedal (see in function), the sustain pedal's effect is stronger than pressing [sustain] key.
Press the [MODULATION] key and do not release when playing the keyboard. It has the vibration effect. Release the [MODULATION] key, no vibration effect.
Pitch bend wheel
The pitch bend wheel can be used to bend the note lower or higher,range between +/- 2 cent. When release the wheel, the note will back to the normal.

Intro/Ending:
After pressing [INTRO/ENDING], the rhythm will start immediately with intro pattern for the style you have selected. After pressing [START/STOP],the normal style will start after the intro style is over. Press [INTRO/ENDING] key when the style is playing, style will stop when it is over.
Fill IN A/Fill IN B
Press [FILL IN A] when the style is playing, the flag A on LCD will flash.After one measure is over,normal style will start.
Press [FILL IN B] when the style is playing, the flag B on LCD will be flash.After one measure is over, variation style will start.
Press [FILL IN A] when style stops, it will change to the normal style, the flag A on LCD will be lightened; Press [FILL IN B] to change the style to the variation style, and the flag B on LCD will be lightened.

There are 2 ways to detect the chord: single finger detect and fingers detect. If the chord is played corresponding to the fingers detect,it is recognized as the fingers chord. if not, single finger chord is recognized.

The default mode after power on the keybaord is A.B.C. off. Press [A.B.C.] key to turn on the auto bass chord, the A.B.C. flag on LCD is lightened. The left area of keyboard is the chord area, when playing the chord, both the bass and the chord voice phonate.

The LCD displays the transpose value. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or the wheel to change the transpose value. This function can change the right area of keyboard from -12 to 12 semitones. Press [+/YES] and [-/NO] together will set the transpose value to the default.
The LCD displays the tune value. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or the wheel to change the tune value. This function can change the right area of keyboard from -50 to 50 cents. Press [+/YES] and [-/NO] together will set the tune value to the default.
The LCD displays the octave value. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or the wheel to change the octave value. This function can change the right area of keyboard from -2 to 2 octaves. Press [+/YES] and [-/NO] together will set the tune value to the default.
The LCD displays the beat value. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or the wheel to change the beat value.The beat value includes 0, 2-9, 9 types at all.

The LCD displays the split point value. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] , the wheel or the keyboard to change the split point. The key of the split point is on the left of the keyboard.
Split point
The LCD displays the type of pedal. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or the wheel to change the pedal assign. The pedal can be set as sustain pedal, soft pedal, start/stop pedal or memory select pedal.The default pedal is the sustain pedal.
The LCD displays the touch value. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or the wheel to change the touch response. If the touch is set as off,it means no touch response.
The LCD displays :00x Brillian, Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or the wheel to change the Brillian value range from 0 to 127. The default value is 96 .

The LCD displays the reverb level. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or the wheel to change the reverb level. The level ranges from 0 to 127. The default level is 40.
The LCD displays the chorus type. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or the wheel to change the chorus type. There are 8 types can be selected (0-7). The default type is 2.

RECEIVE can set the channel of MIDI IN. The default setting is all, channel 1-16 can be selected,too. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] key or the wheel to select the channel.

Record
There are two user songs can be recorded.Each song has 3 tracks (1 ACCOMP track,2 MELODY tracks). You can choose either RECORD or STEP RECORD to record the user song. The record is stored in SONG 101,102. You must press SONG key to 101,102 to play back the record.
The user song will not lose when the keyboard is powered off. When the keyboard is powered on, press [RECORD] and [STEP REC] key together to delete all the user songs. Press [LESSON] key can practise the user songs
Press [RECORD] key to enter the record mode. REC flag indication appears on the LCD.
Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] key or the wheel to select the user song 101 or 102.

When selecting ADD, STEP RECORD will continue the recording from the last note of recording. When selecting NEW, press [FUNCTION+/NEXT] key, then press [+/YES] key to confirm, press [-/NO] key to cancel. If confirm, the current user song will be deleted.
