Installation and maintenance is to be performed only by qualied
personnel who are familiar with, and in compliance with state, local and national codes and regulations, and experienced with this type of equipment. Sharp edges and coil surfaces are potential injury hazards. Avoid contact with them.
DANGER
!
Disconnect all electrical power before servicing unit. Electrical shock will cause severe injury or death.
Tools Required
1/4" Nut driver
Small Screw driver
Procedure
1. Disconnect all power from the unit by unplugging the power cord from the receptacle.
2. Remove the front panel.
3. Disconnect the communication cable from the Touchpad.
4. Press in release clips on the back of the Touchpad and remove Touchpad from cabinet.
WARNING
!
To avoid electrical shock, personal injury or death:
1. Installer must be qualied, experienced technician.
2. Disconnect power supply before installation to prevent electrical shock and damage to equipment.
CAUTION
!
Sharp metal edges are a hazard, use care when servicing to avoid contact with them.
5. Install Touchpad block-off plate and secure with “pine tree” clips that are included in the kit.
6. Remove screws that will allow access to the inside of the control box and to the Control Board and remove com­munication cable from control board.
7. Connect Remote Thermostat wires to Remote Thermo­stat plug connector taking care that the correct wires are under the correct lug and are safely routed. The connec­tor is labeled R C W Y B G and will mate up with the corresponding control board connector.
8. Close control box and secure with screws.
9. Reinstall front panel.
10. Apply power and test for proper operation according to thermostat instructions.
