MiniMacman
1x1 Macintosh MIDI Interface
The MiniMacman MIDI Interface allows your Macintosh computer to send and receive MIDI.
MiniMacman draws power directly from the computer itself and needs no external supply -- only the connection of the serial cable is required. The included serial cable should be plugged into the Serial In connector on the MiniMacman. The other end of the serial cable should be plugged into either the modem or printer port of your Mac. Either port can be used. Just make sure the MIDI program you are using is set to use the same port you have your MiniMacman plugged into.
MiniMacman operates in MIDI mode whenever it is plugged into your computer AND
a MIDI application is run. When the unit is properly activated in this fashion, the red Power LED will light, indicating it is fully functional. The MiniMacman is now able to send and receive MIDI when addressed by a standard MIDI application.
MIDI Data In and Out indicator LEDs are operational whenever the MiniMacman power LED is lit. These LEDs will flash whenever MIDI data is received or transmitted and can be very helpful when trouble-shooting your MIDI system. If MiniMacman is plugged in and MIDI data is sent by the
