K00014 STACKING KIT
Installation Instructions
1. The K00014 stacking kit is used for stacking a G-
0400 or G-0600 on an E-0200, E-0400, G-0400, or G-0600 ice machine.
: Bin must be level before proceeding to Step

2. Installation of Ice Machines: A. See service manual for uncrating and inspection
of both ice machines.
B. Remove top cover from lower ice machine. C. Set ice machine carefully and squarely on bin. D. Remove backing paper from 1” square of
double-sided tape and place tape in center of shim. Remove the remaining backing paper and match slot in shim to hole in ice machine frame, as shown in Fig. 1. Press in place. Repeat for opposite side.
E. Set top ice machine carefully and squarely on
bottom ice machine.
F. Remove front and side panels from both ice
machines.
G. Bolt two ice machines together with 1/4-20 x
5/8” long bolt, lockwasher, and nut provided in kit, one each side.
H. Remove angle A (Fig. 1) and set aside.

3. Installation of Water Shield:
1. Remove the water pump, float valve-bracket
assembly, and sump trough from top ice machine.
2. Locate the water shield above the electrical box
of the lower ice machine, as shown in Illustration 2. It will be secured using the existing screw in the lower right-hand corner of the top ice machine, as shown in Illustration 2.
3. Reinstall the sump trough, float valve-bracket
assembly, and water pump
4. Installation of Ice Chute: A. Remove ice chute from kit and set bottom
mounting brackets over angle B (Fig. 1).
B. Put angle A in slots of top mounting brackets
and secure in place.
C. Check for free movement of both water curtains. D. Proceed to ice machine service manual for
electrical and water hook-up and start-up procedure.
E. Reattach front and side panels. F. Add four sheet metal screws to side panels, two
on each side of lower ice machine, where the lower and upper ice machines butt.
