Extra 2 years of warranty on Makita tools

If you purchase Makita tools​, you'll receive 2 years of extra warranty on top of Makita’s standard warranty. This means you’ll have a total of 3 years of warranty on your Makita product. Read below what you have to do to receive the extra warranty.

What do you need?

●A My Makita account

●The receipt

How do you qualify for the extra warranty?

1.Use your My Makita account to login to the ​Makita​website.

2.Register within 4 weeks after the purchase of your product via ‘Garantie beheer’ in the left menu.

3.Fill out the required information.

4.After the confirmation, you’ll receive a warranty certificate.

5.Keep the receipt. You need this and the warranty certificate to claim the extra 2 years of warranty.

Validity

●The extra warranty only applies to purchases made at Coolblue in the Netherlands and Belgium.

●Makita’s additional terms and conditions apply to the extra warranty.

●The warranty only applies to production errors and doesn’t apply to repairs.

●The promotion doesn’t include Second Chance products.

Not included in the extra 2 years of warranty

The products that aren’t included in the extra 2 years of warranty are:

●Lithium-ion batteries and chargers

●Ni-Cd batteries and chargers, lasers

●Battery lights

●Gasoline-powered tools

●Air tools

●Compressors

●Gas tackers

●Accurate torque wrenches (unless stated otherwise).
