LR Baggs REVERB User's Guide

ALIGN SERIES
REVERB
USER’S GUIDE
INTRODUCTION
The Align Reverb was built from the ground up to
complement the natural body dynamics and warmth
of acoustic instruments that we love so much. The
circuit seamlessly integrates the wet and dry signals
with the eect in side chain so that it never overwhelms
the original signal. We shaped the reverb with analog
EQ to reect the natural voice inherent in acoustic
tility by sweeping from warm and muted to open and
present. The result is an organic reverb that maintains
the audiophile purity of the original signal with the
controls set in any position.
GETTING STARTED
1. Power the Reverb with a 9V power supply or a 9V
battery.
2. Plug your guitar into the input to activate the
Reverb (upper right hand side) and a cable into the
¼” output (upper left hand side).
3. Start with the volume control at noon. This should
match the engaged signal with the bypassed signal.
4. Plug the ¼” cable into your amp, PA, or next pedal in
the signal chain and experiment with the Reverb
.

TOP FEATURES
A. TONE
This is a simple control to help you alter the tone of
the reverb itself. It will not aect the tone of your
instrument, only the tone of the reverb. Turn the control
clockwise for a present, reective sound or counter-
clockwise for dark, subdued tones.
B. INSTRUMENT INPUT
The ¼” input is an unbalanced (mono), all-discrete
input. Plugging into the input will activate the Reverb,
therefore, unplugging will turn the system o.
C. DECAY
The decay control adjusts the length of the reverb tail.
Start with the control counter clockwise and you’ll hear
subtle reection of your acoustic instrument. Turn
it clockwise and you’ll nd yourself playing in an
expansive, open space. Adjust to taste.
D. ENGAGE
Press the footswitch to engage the eects. When the
light is on, all of the controls on the Reverb are engaged.
When the light is o, the whole pedal is true bypassed.
E. REVERB
The reverb control blends an aected reverb signal with
an unaected instrument signal. When turned fully
counter-clockwise, no reverb will aect the signal. Turn
clockwise to add reverb.
F. ¼” OUT
The ¼” output is an unbalanced, line level output. You
can plug into any amp or device that has a ¼” input. We
recommend running into any other LR Baggs Align
pedals, DI’s, or the Synapse Personal PA System.
G. VOLUME
The master volume will help you nd a balance between
your engaged and bypassed signal. It is only active
when the engage light is on. Keep in mind that the level
of the reverb control can aect this balance, so you may
need to adjust the volume as you adjust the eect.

SIDE FEATURES
A. DC INPUT
The DC power input is designed for a standard 2mm
plug commonly used with eects pedals and “oor-
box” products. Most power supplies or multi-power
devices designed for musical products may be used.
9VDC recommended with a 12VDC maximum. Plugging
in a power supply will activate the Reverb.
