Precaution
To avoid accident, please read below before installation and operation.
About Safety
1. Please comply with the highway code and rules.
2. Do not watch or operate the unit while driving as it can divert your attention.
3. Park at a safe place before watching or operating the unit.
About Installation
1. A certified technician is recommended for installation.
2. Install and operate according to this manual if not certified.
3. If the vehicle has been parked in the sun, cool it off to +60°C ~ -20°C before operating the unit.
4. If so equipped, the auto antenna will extend automatically when using the unit.
5. This unit may not operate correctly in high humidity weather such as a rainy day. If malfunctioning
please remove the disc and wait till the humidity is gone.
6. To get high playback quality do not splash liquid on the disc or unit.
7. Turn off the unit first before you turn off the vehicle or it will keep drawing current from your battery.
8. Dust will affect playback quality or cause the unit to be unable to read the disc. To avoid this clean the
disc before inserting it and wipe the disc slot if dust is present. If dust settles into the unit it must be taken apart by a certified technician and cleaned.
9. If the unit is kept on a high volume for a long period of time it will degrade the life of the unit. To preserve playback quality and unit life use an average volume for continuous use.
10. Attempting to modify the unit may cause issues with the unit.
11. Playing a disc on a very bumpy road may damage the disc or unit.

MPEG4 on some models, you should ignore them. While enjoying DVD, VCD, MPEG4 and CD, the display will automatically identify the discs and indicate the corresponding words.

Wiring Diagram
The unit is designed for 12V DC with a negative ground. The sub woofer and automatic antenna have a separate power supply. Be sure to connect the color coded wires according to the wiring diagram. Incorrect connections can cause the unit to malfunction or damage the vehicle's electronic systems. Be sure to connect the speaker (-) to speaker (-) terminal. Never connect the left and right channel speaker cables to the wrong side or to the vehicle's body. To avoid overheating do not block vents or radiating panel.

Basic Operation
1. Power On/ Off - Press the power button to turn on the unit. Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn off the
unit. While in playback mode, press and release the power button to mute playback.
2. Vol/Bass/Treble/Balance/EQ - Turn VOL dial clockwise to increase volume and counterclockwise to decrease it.
3. Mode Button - Press the mode button to cycle between Radio, DVD, Bluetooth and Aux modes.
4. Reset Button - When operating the unit for the first time, resetting the unit is recommended. Press the
reset button to set the unit to initial procedure. If the unit malfunctions use the reset button before any troubleshooting measures are taken.
Radio Operation
During Radio Mode be sure the radio antenna is connected correctly to receive radio signal.
5. Band Selection - In Radio Mode press the band button until you reach the preferred setting.
Manual/Auto Tuning
1. Manual tuning - Press left or right arrow on screen to change the frequency.
2. Auto tuning - Press left or right arrow on screen and hold for 3-5 seconds then release. The radio will
scan up or down respectively until it finds a broadcasting station.
Aps
1. Press Aps button to scan each stored station for 7 seconds then press Aps again to start playing the station. Press and hold Aps button for more than 3 seconds to start the memory storing function where the radio automatically selects a station and has it stored.
Station Storage
1. Press and hold any number key to save the current station onto that number preset.
DVD/ VCD/ CD/ MP4 Operation
Inserting a disc (label side upward) will auto play the disc.
1. If the unit is in another mode with a disc already inserted, press and release the mode button to switch to DVD mode.
2. Eject button - Stop disc then press and release eject button then withdraw disc.
3. Fast Forward/Rewind - Press once for 2x, twice for 4x, three times for 8x, four times for 20x.
4. APS - During DVD/VCD/CD mode, press APS button to change the audio channel between: Left/ Right/
Stereo.
MP3 Playback
1. Track Selection Method 1: After inserting the MP3 the unit will go to the play list. Press and release fast forward or rewind to change to the next or previous song.
2. Track Selection Method 2: After inserting the MP3 the unit will go to the play list. Use the number pad on the remote to select a track and then press and release the play button.

USB/ SD Card Playback
1. Insert the USB or SD card into the designated slot and the unit will switch to USB/SD card mode.
2. Track Selection Method 1: After inserting the USB the unit will go to the play list. Press and release fast
forward or rewind to change to the next or previous song.
3. Track Selection Method 2: After inserting the USB the unit will go to the play list. Use the number pad on the remote to select a track and then press and release the play button.
NOTE: USB must be formatted in FAT or FAT 12/16/32.
Touch Screen Operation
Function Set-up
Once you power on the unit it will enter the main menu.
1. Select the options button to enter function adjustment.
2. Press GPS/Mirror/Beep/Time to open and close each respective function.
A. Time Adjustment - Press (+) or (-) to adjust hour and minute.
Rear View Camera
When the vehicle is put into reverse the touch screen will automatically change to the rear camera. When the vehicle changes out of reverse the touch screen will return to previous functions.
1. Press and release the touch screen options button to enter touch screen setup.
2. Select Brightness, Contrast, Color, or Sharp and adjust using the (+) or (-) buttons.
NOTE: Presets include: Soft, Color, Normal, and Bright.
Radio Playback
1. Press and release the radio button to enter Radio Mode.
NOTE: When in Radio Mode the sleep button allows you to turn off the touch screen and conserve power.
2. Select APS to start auto memory function. The radio will then auto scan stations from the current
frequency and stations in sequence of strong signal to weak signal.
3. Press the band button to cycle between frequencies (FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2).
4. Press and release directional arrows to scan stations forward and backwards.
5. Press the LOC button to cycle between short range and long range.
6. Press the ST button to switch between Stereo and Mono.
7. Press and release the back arrow to return to the previous screen.
8. Press and release the sound options to enter audio setup.
9. Select Treble, Bass, Balance, or Fade and adjust using the (+) or (-) buttons.
NOTE: Presets include: Rock, Pop, Jazz, Class.

DVD/ VCD/ CD/ MP4 Playback
Inserting a disc (label side upward) will auto play the disc.
1. If the unit is in another mode with a disc already inserted, press and release the mode button to switch to DVD mode.
NOTE: When two or more media options become available you will get a choice menu.
2. Press and release Night Mode button to enter Night Mode. Press anywhere on the touch screen to
restore the touch screen.
Bluetooth
1. Press and release the Bluetooth button to enter Bluetooth mode.
2. To pair devices search for parable devices using your smart phone.
NOTE: When receiving a call and phone is paired, press and release the phone button to answer the call.
NOTE: The system will automatically switch between phone and radio mode when caller is present.
3. Track Selection Method 1: After pairing the unit with a device it will go into Bluetooth mode. Press and
release fast forward or rewind to change to the next or previous song.
4. Track Selection Method 2: After pairing the unit with a device it will go into Bluetooth mode. Use the number pad on the remote to select a track and then press and release the play button.
USB/SD Playback
1. Press the USB or SD to enter disc playing mode.
2. Select USB/SD Player.
3. Press night mode button to enter night mode. Press anywhere on the touch screen to return to normal
function.
4. When the USB/SD card has both MP3 and MP4 file type you may switch between MP3 or MP4 playback by selecting the file type in the USB/SD playback menu.
5. Press UP and DOWN arrow keys to select the song of choice and press play to listen to it.
NOTE: When in USB/SD menu it will show the folder explorer on the left side with a breakdown of the folders
and sub-folders in which you can select and play media from.

Remote Control Operation
NOTE: Some models do not come with a remote control. If no remote was included, please disregard these
instructions.
NOTE: Remove insulator tab prior to remote control operation.
Battery
NOTE: Replace the battery when the range of operation has become limited or there aren't functions
operating.
NOTE: When replacing be sure that the battery is a CR2025 and that it is facing the correct polarity.
1. While pulling the stopper in towards the battery, pull out the battery compartment.
2. Insert the battery into the battery cradle and place back into the remote with the (-) polarity upward.
Functions
1. Power - Press any key to turn on the unit. Press red power button to turn off the unit.
2. Play/Pause - In any playing mode press the play/pause button to pause, press it again to play the
media.
3. Mute/Dimmer - Press the mute button to silence the audio, press it again to unmute the unit. Press and hold the mute button to go into sleep mode, press any key to resume operation.
4. Stop - In any playing mode press the stop button to suspend the playback and press the play/pause button to resume playback. Press the stop button twice and the play/pause button once to stop playback and resume from the beginning of the media.
5. Viewing Angle Selection - In DVD playback mode press the angle button to watch the DVD content from a different viewing angle.
6. Subtitle - In DVD playback mode press the subtitle button until you reach the preferred subtitle language.
NOTE: Subtitles will only work if the DVD supports subtitles.
7. Timed Play - In VCD/CD playback mode press the "Go To" button and set the time for where the
playback should begin from. Enter the desired time by using the numeric portion of the remote control.
8. Audio Channel - In playback mode press the audio button to change the audio channel.
9. Repeat - In DVD/VCD/CD/MP3 playback mode press APS button to switch among the following repeat
modes; repeat chapter, repeat subtitle, repeat disc and cancel repeat.
10. Location Selection/Random Play - In radio mode press the LOC button to receive remote stations in addition to local stations already being received. In VCD/CD playback mode press the LOC button to set the play list to random.
11. Frequency Selection - Press the band button to cycle between different frequencies.
12. Tuning - In radio mode press seek + or seek - to cycle radio stations.
13. Fast Forward/Rewind - In DVD playback mode press seek + to fast forward or seek - to rewind.
14. Program Play - In VCD/CD playback mode press the ST button to set the sequence of the tracks. Use
the directional arrows to select the sequence number and then the numeric portion of the remote to select where the track goes in the sequence.
15. Audio Mode - In radio mode press the ST button to select stereo mode or mono mode.

NOTE: If signal is weak in stereo mode, switching to mono may provide better quality.
16. Volume - Press VOL+ button to increase the volume and VOL- to decrease it.
17. Zoom - In DVD/VCD playback mode press the zoom button to zoom into the media. Use the directional
arrows to pan the media once zoomed in. Cycle through pressing the zoom button until its canceled to return to normal viewing resolution.
18. Slow - Press the slow button to cycle through playing speeds. To return to normal speed either cycle through the speeds or press the play/pause button.
19. Return to Title - In DVD playback mode press the title button to return to the title menu.
20. Time Display - Press the CLK button to display the time.

Disc Etiquette
1. Playing a dirty or damaged disc will result in poor playback quality.
2. Do not use discs with glue, ink or any debris as this may damage the disc.
3. Do not touch the playback side of the disc.
4. Do not stick paper or tape to the disc.
5. Do not use discs with torn tag.
6. Keep the disc away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Do not leave discs in the vehicle on hot days.
7. Do not use discs with added tags.
8. Before playing, wipe disc from the center to the outside with a soft clean cloth (Fig. 1).
9. Do not use any solvent such as alcohol, thinner, commercially available cleaners or anti-static spray.
