Hold on while we remove the barriers. The open spaciousness of Lincoln MKZ is a result of what’s not there. For instance: no traditional

shifter. We eliminated the intrusive knob to create a thin center console that flows gracefully through the cabin. Step back and soak in
the stunning, floating dual-arch design, inspired by the shape of a calla lily.Lift your eyes to the instrument panel, and you’ll recognize the
rhythmic symmetry of a manta ray. We eschewed conventional design in interior lighting as well. Illuminated front-door sill plates welcome
you. Inside, rear passengers “swipe” dots of light on the ceiling to activate their reading lamps. The bulbs filter through a soft fabric
headliner rather than glaring in eyes. Even the door locks are subtle, emitting a red LED glow when locked. By lifting the limits of design,
we’ve elevated interactions with your car – and opened it up for more interaction with your front passenger too.

Steers the vehicle into the space, without the need to touch the steering wheel. The driver controls the accelerator
and brakes. The system uses ultrasonic sensors and electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) to identif y a space and
position the vehicle for parallel parking. The system calculates the optimal steering angle and guides the vehicle
into a parking spot. Instructions on the message center coach the driver during the maneuver.

Maintains a preset speed without having to work the brake and accelerator pedals, and uses advanced radar
technology to scan ahead and adjust the speed to adapt to the vehicle in front. The desired gap can be set to 4
unique settings. If forward collision warning with brake support detects a potential collision, the system flashes a
warning across the windshield, sounds an alarm, then precharges the brakes and increases brake-assist sensitivity
to provide full responsiveness when the brakes are applied.

Helps detect a vehicle entering the blind spot with sensors in the rear quarter panels. A warning light in the
corresponding sideview mirror illuminates and remains on until a vehicle is no longer detected in that blind spot.

Monitors a space up to 45' from either side of the vehicle whenever it is in Reverse. When cross traffic approaches,
an audible alert sounds, a message is displayed in the message center, and a warning light illuminates in the
corresponding sideview mirror.

Located on the rear outboard seating positions, the inflatable rear safety belts combine attributes of traditional
safety belts and airbags. Using cold, compressed gas, the inflated torso belt helps distribute crash-force energy
across more of a passenger’s chest than a traditional belt in the event of certain frontal or side crashes.

Senses when the key fob is in range to unlock the driver’s door. Simply pull the door handle to unlock the vehicle.
Once inside, to start the vehicle, press and hold the brake pedal while pushing the Engine Start/Stop button. To turn
the vehicle off, shift into Park and push the Engine Start /Stop button.

Can alert the driver, day or night, if the vehicle is leaving its intended lane. Utilizing a forward-facing camera that
reads lines on the road, Lane-Keeping System alerts the driver through 2 modes when unintentional lane departure
is detected: Lane-Keeping Alert sends vibration pulses to the steering wheel to alert the driver; Lane-Keeping Aid
applies steering torque to help direct the driver to steer the vehicle back into its lane.

A suite of 3 technologies: 1. Continuously controlled damping suspension uses advanced sensors that constantly
monitor and adjust the vehicle’s suspension motion, body movement, steering and braking. 2. Electric power-assisted
steering (EPAS) measures steering input, adapts to changing road conditions and helps compensate for slight directional
shifts caused by factors such as crowned roads and strong, steady crosswinds. 3. Active noise control refines the
cabin’s sound qualit y experience by reducing undesirable engine noise with the use of a series of microphones and
the vehicle’s speaker system. Opposing sound waves are sent to cancel the unwanted noise, or enhance the engine
sound in Sport mode.

To help reduce muscle fatigue and enhance blood flow in the legs and lower back, 11 air cushions change the

contour of the seat back, bottom and bolsters, and subtly roll when activated.

Allows gear selection by pressing a button located in the center stack. The button for the selected gear turns
amber, and the gear selected is also highlighted in the instrument cluster. The vehicle automatically shifts into Park
when the ignition is shut off, or if the driver’s door is opened with the driver’s safety belt unbuckled.

Offers over 130 channels, including commercial-free music, spor ts, news, talk and entertainment. Provides fuel

prices, local and national weather, alerts on traffic-related incidents, and alternate route suggestions. Turn-by-turn

Hybrid information instrument cluster features 2 configurable LCD screens that offer access for driver control and
