The Power Plug is the disconnecting device. In case of an emergency, the Power Plug must remain readily accessible.
Check the specication page of this owner’s manual to be certain of the current requirements.
Do not overload wall outlets. Overloaded wall outlets, loose or damaged wall outlets, extension cords, frayed power cords, or damaged or cracked wire insulation are dangerous. How to Safely remove the batteries or the battery pack from the equipment: To Remove
the old batteries or battery pack, follow the assembly steps in reverse order. To prevent contamination of the environment and bring on possible threat to human and/or animal health, the old batteries or the battery pack must be put in an appropriate container at designated collection points. Do not dispose of batteries or battery pack together with other waste. It is recommended that you use local, free reimbursement systems batteries or battery packs, (may not be available in your area). The batteries or the battery pack should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.

Introduction
Playable Discs
This unit plays DVD±R/RW and CD-R/RW that contains audio titles, MP3, WMA and/or JPEG les. Some DVD±RW/DVD±R or CD-RW/CD-R cannot be played on this unit due to the recording quality or physical condition of the disc, or the characteristics of the recording device and authoring software.

Regional Codes
This unit has a regional code printed on the rear of the unit. This unit can play only DVD discs labeled same as the rear of the unit or “ALL”.
yMost DVD discs have a globe with one or more
numbers in it clearly visible on the cover. This number must match your unit’s regional code or the disc cannot play.
yIf you try to play a DVD with a dierent regional
code from your unit, the message “Check Regional Code” appears on the TV screen.

yWe recommend that you use Easy-CD Creator,
which creates an ISO9660 le system.
yYou have to set the disc format option to
[Mastered] in order to make the discs compatible with the LG players when formatting rewritable discs. When setting the option to Live File System, you cannot use it on LG players. (Mastered/ Live File System : Disc format system for Windows Vista)
The DTS is not supported. In case of DTS audio format, audio is not output.

Photo le compatibility with this unit is limited as follows :

directly if possible. Or when you use an extension cable, it is highly recommended to use an extension cable of 110 V / 15 A or 230 V / 15 A, otherwise the unit may not operate properly because of the lack of power supply.

Use of Tripod
You can mount the unit on a tripod. The tripod is an optional purchase.
Caution
>
yExtend the tripod legs as much as possible
and tighten up the screw securely.
yBefore connecting with the unit, you must
set up the tripod completely to prevent shaking.
1. Unfold the tripod on a flat surface. And then fix the tripod. Tighten up the tightening part of the tripod.
2. Lift the speaker and connect the tripod to fixing part on the bottom of the speaker.
3. Tighten up the Hand screw on the bottom of the unit.
Caution
>
Tighten up the Hand screw on the bottom of the unit while the other is holding a speaker and tripod.

specications for maximum bearing load of the center column. (Unit’s net weight : about 22.7 kg)

maximum only in case of need.
yMount only one unit on each tripod.
yDo not try to extent the tripod legs
outside over its allowed range.
yMake sure the tripod is correctly
assembled and all its components are tightly connected.
yDo not try to assemble the tripod if parts
are missing or defective.
yAfter installation, check whether the unit is
set up rmly on the tripod or not.
yDo not place the unit on an unstable
position where it might accidentally fall ove r.
yAdd weight such as sand bags around the
tripod legs to prevent them from falling ove r.

unit while using this unit with tripod. Otherwise it may result in malfunction and causing personal injury or property damage.
yStanding on the stool to reach unit control
panel is risky and might lead to injuries.
yDo not put or attach other objects on the
tripod.

tripod is installed.
yRefrain from moving around the tripod
after unit is installed.
yRemove the units from all connected
cables of the tripods before moving the tripods or adjusting their height.
yWhen transporting or moving the unit,
always use two or more people.
yWhen you use the tripod, use an extension
cord. always be careful the movement of cable.
yIt is prohibited to use this unit outside.

yDo not expose the unit to excessive
dust or vibrations, or extreme cold or heat (such as in direct sunlight, near a heater) to prevent the possibility of panel disguration or damage to the internal components.
yWhen using the external input cable (Mic,
etc.) after installing the unit on the tripod, external input cable can cause the unit to fall down.
yWatch out the people can trip over the
input cable (Mic, etc.) connected the unit.
yAlways be careful of the unit being
tripped.

Connecting the Power cord
1. Connect the power cord to the unit.
2. Plug the power cord into an outlet.
Connections to Your TV
HDMI Out Connection
If you have a HDMI TV or monitor, you can connect it to this unit using a HDMI cable (Type A, High Speed HDMI™ Cable). Connect the HDMI OUT jack on the unit to the HDMI IN jack on a HDMI compatible TV or monitor. Set the TV’s source to HDMI (refer to TV’s Owner’s manual).
