a. Turn the ignition switch to the "ACC" or
"ON" position.
b. Press the "OPEN" button to tilt the navigation
display.
c. Press the "MAP" button to remove the old
navigation DVD.
d. Remove and discard the old DVD.
e. Insert the new navigation DVD.
f. Push the "OPEN" button again to close the
display panel
2. Verify the search area is set to the local are
described in the navigation system owners
manual.
3. Your navigation system will now update
on its own.

1. Remove the Luggage compartment floor mat
a. Remove the floor mat.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 luggage
compartment trim hooks No. 1
c. Remove the 2 clips and 2 deck side trim boards.
2. Remove the rear floor finish plate
a. Remove the 5 clips
b. Disengage the 4 clips and remove the plate in
diagram A
3. Remove the navigation ECU
a. Remove the 2 screws
b. Raise the front portion of the navigation ECU

5. Reinstall the navigation ECU
a. Push down on the front of the navigation
ECU.
4. Replace the navigation DVD
a. Turn the ignition switch to the "ACC" or
"ON" position
b. Press the "PUSH" button and slide it to
the left. This will open the dust cover and
eject the DVD.
c. Remove and discard the old DVD.
d. Insert the new navigation DVD.
e. Press the "PUSH" button and slide it to
the right. This will close the dust cover.
b. Reinstall the 2 screws.
6. Reinstall the rear floor finish plate
a. Reinstall the rear floor plate and engage the
4 clips (diagram A). Reinstall the 5 clips
(diagram B).
7. Reinstall the luggage compartment floor
mat.
a. Reinstall the 2 bolts and the 2 luggage
compartement trim hooks No. 1.
b. Reinstall the 2 clips and 2 deck side trim
board.
c. Reinstall the floor mat.
8. Verify the search area is set to the local
area described in the navigation system
owners manual.
9. Your navigation system will now update
on its own.

1. Remove the navigation ECU cover
a. Move the front passenger seat to its most
forward position.
b. Disengage the 2 screws and remove the
navigation ECU cover.
2. Replace the navigation DVD.
a. Turn the ignition switch to the "ACC" or
"ON" position.
b. Press the "PUSH" button and slide it to the
left. This will open the dust cover and eject
the DVD.
c. Remove and discard the old DVD.
d. Insert the new navigation DVD.
e. Press the "PUSH" button and slide it to the
right. This will close the dust cover.
3. Reinstall the navigation ECU cover
a. Reinstall the navigation ECU cover and
reinstall the 2 screws.
b. Return the front passenger seat to its original
position.
4. Verify the search area is set to the local
area described in the navigation system
owners manual.
5. Your navigation system will now update
on its own.

b. Open the rear hatch.
c. Open the deck board sub-assembly.
d. Support the deck board via the supporting rod.
e. Disengage the 2 claws.
f. Remove the navigation ECU cover.
g. Press the "PUSH" button and slide it to the left.
This will open the dust cover and eject the DVD.
h. Remove and discard the old DVD.

j. Press the "PUSH" button and slide it to the right.
This will close the dust cover
k. Reinstall the navigation ECU cover.
l. Return the support rod to the closed position.
m. Close the deck board sub-assembly.
2. Verify the search area is set to the local

3. Your navigation system will now update
on its own.
