Preparing your Lenovo PHAB Plus
You can use cellular services by inserting the Micro SIM and Nano SIM card provided by your carrier. The Nano SIM card and microSD card share the card tray. You can insert either Nano SIM or microSD card at the same time. Install the Micro SIM card, Nano SIM card or the microSD card as shown.
Step 1.
Insert the SIM eject tool that comes with your device into the hole in the Micro SIM & microSD card tray.
Step 2.
Pull out the Micro SIM & microSD card tray and position the Micro SIM and Nano
Step 3.
SIM card or the microSD card into the tray in correct orientation. Carefully insert the tray with the installed Micro SIM card, microSD card back into the slot.

Micro SIM card and Nano SIM card work with your Lenovo PHAB Plus.
Use a standard Nano SIM card only. Inserting a modied card or a Nano SIM card with a SIM card adapter may cause the card to not t properly or damage the card slot or your device.

Starting to use your Lenovo PHAB Plus
Before using your device, you might need to charge the battery. Charge the battery as shown.
Connect your device to a power outlet using the included cable and USB power adapter.
Low battery Fully charged
Turning on/off
Turn on: Press and hold th e On/Off button until th e Lenovo
logo appears. Tur n off : Press and hold th e On/Off button for a few secon ds, then tap Power off.
Restart:
Press an d hold the On/Of f button for abou t 10 seconds.
Press and hold the On/Off button for a few seconds, then tap Restart.
Taking screenshots
Press and hold the On/Off button and the volume down button at the same time.

Prevent hearing damage
Your device has a headphone connector. Always use the headphone connector for headphones (also called a headset) or earphones.
CAUTION: Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause h earing los s. Adjustme nt of the equal izer to maxim um increas es the earph one and head phone outpu t voltage and t he sound pres sure level. There fore, to prote ct your hear ing, adjust t he equalize r to an appropr iate level.
Excessive use of headphones or earphones for a long period of time at high volume can be dangerous if the output of the headphone or earphone connectors do not comply with specications of EN 50332-2.
The headphone output connector of your device complies with EN 50332-2 Sub clause 7. This sp ecicatio n limits the devi ce's maximum wi de band true RM S output voltag e to 150 mV. To help protect aga inst hearin g loss, ensure t hat the headph ones or earph ones you use als o comply with E N 50332-2 (Clause 7 lim its) for a wide ban d characteristic voltage of 75 mV. Using headphones that do not comply with EN 50332-2 can b e dangerous du e to excessive so und pressure l evels.
If your dev ice came with h eadphones o r earphone s in the package, a s a set, the combination of the headphones or earphones and the device already complies with the specications of EN 50332-1. If different headphones or earphones are used, ensure that they comply with EN 50332-1 (Clause 6.5 Limitation Values). Using headph ones that do not c omply with EN 50 332-1 can be da ngerous due to exc essive sound pressure levels.
