Place the remote control on an even surface and insert the supplied button cell
into the remote control as follows.
1. Push the button towards left.
2. Pull the battery loader out.
3. Insert the battery into the receptacle make sure the polarity matches the marks
inside the component.
4. Insert the receptacle into the remote control.

Using Of Remote Control
Point the remote control towards the main unit when operating.
The remote control works best at a distance less than 5 m and at an angle of up to 30
to the front of the unit. No obstacles may stand in the way between remote control and
infrared sensor and do not place the remote control in direct sunlight. If the remote
control unit fails to work even when it is operated near the player, replace the battery.
Notes on batteries
If the remote control is not used for a long period of time, please remove the battery from the
compartment.
Do not heat batteries or dispose of them in fires.
Do not dismantle, deform or modify batteries.

The MP3/WMA/MPEG4 disc has such a directory structure as shown .
Press Direction key to choose the root directory and then press ENTER button to
enter into the sub directory.
Press Direction key to choose the desired track and then press ENTER or PLAY to
enjoy the music or movie.
If you want to return to the upper menu, press Direction key to choose
the icon and press ENTER button.
Filter: Allows selecting the categories of files displayed in the browser list.
This selection is done among the 3 categories: Audio, Photo and Video.
Repeat: To switch different repeat playing mode.

PICTURE CD PLAYBACK
Normal: Shuffle mode is cancelled.
Shuffle: Shuffle mode enabled. When playback reaches the end of the current
chapter/track, playback jumps to a random chapter/track. As the end of
each chapter/track is reached, another random chapter/track will be
played until all tracks/chapters have been played or the Shuffle mode is
cancelled by toggling to a different Mode Option.
Music Intro: In this mode, the media will play 10 seconds then skip to next media
Edit Mode: To enable programmed playback mode. When you select the mode,
press LEFT Direction key to directory and press ENTER to choose the
desired track and press Add to program to .
Program view: Display program track.
Brower view: Display track directory.
Add to program: Choice the track press Add to program to add the track of the
program play directory.
Clear program: In the complete stop state(press the STOP button twice),
choose the track press Clear program to delete the track of the
program play directory.

SYSTEM SETUP
MENU OPERATION
Press the SETUP button on the remote control, the SETUP MENU(main)will be displayed.
After accessing the setup menu, press the direction buttons for up and down movement
to select an item desired, then press the ENTER button to confirm.
Press LEFT direction button return to the menu of upper level.
To exit the setup, press the SETUP button again. In the SETUP MENU, you may choose
any of the following options as you like.
LANGUAGE SETUP
Select Language in the setup menu, and display the Language submenu:

Aspect Ratio
The image display ratio is related to the recorded disc format. Some disc can not
display images in the aspect ratio you choose.
If you play a disc recorded in 4:3 format on a widescreen TV, black bars will
appear on the left and right side of the screen. You must adjust the screen setting
depending on the type of the television you have.
TV System
This product supports output of various system, including NTSC, PAL.
If your TV set has only NTSC or PAL system, the screen will blink and become
colorless when a wrong system is selected.
Note: For more information of output format, refer to the instructions or your TV set.
Smart picture
Adjust display effect for video output: Standard: default effect.
Bright: internal setting for bright view effect.
Soft: internal setting for soft view effect.
Dynamic: user adjust brightness, contrast, color etc.

Selecting a Rating allows the user to set the parental control feature of the player
Select Parental Control, and press ENTER to change the different mode.
Note: Unlock the password before setting Parental Control.

Use the 0-9 keys to input four digits(password), then press ENTER to confirm.
Note: If you forget your password, please use the universal password 6666 to
unlock.
MISC SETUP
Select MISC in the setup menu, and display the submenu:

First Time Installation
After all connections have been made properly, switch on TV and make sure the
receiver is connected to the Main Power. Press Power button to switch receiver on.
If you are using the receiver for the first time or restored to Factory Default, the
Main Menu will appear on your TV screen.

Basic Operation
1. Program Manage Settings
To access the Menu, press the MENU button and select [Program].
The Menu provides options to adjust the Program Manage Settings. Select an option

1) Program Edit
To edit your program preferences (lock, skip, favourite, move or delete), you will
need to enter the Program Edit Menu. This Menu requires a password to access.

Set Favourite Program
You can create a shortlist of favourite programs that you can easily access.
Set Favourite TV or Radio program:
(1). Select the pre ferred program then press the FAVOURITE button.
A heart-shaped symbol will appear and the program is marked as a favourite.
(2). Repeat the previous step to select more Favourite programs.
(3). To confirm and exit the Menu, press the EXIT key
Disable favourite TV or Radio Program:
Press the FAVOURITE button on the Remote Control with the heart-shaped symbol.
View Favourite Program
(1). Press the Favourite button and the Favourite Menu will appear.
(2). Press UP/DOWN to select your Favourite Programs.
(3). Press OK to select your favourite program.
Delete a TV or Radio Program
(1). Select the Program and then press the BLUE button
A message will appear. Press OK to delete the program
2). Repeat the previous step to select more programs to delete.

Skip TV or Radio Program
(1). Select the program you would like to skip and press the GREEN button. A skip
symbol is displayed. The program is marked as a skip.
(2). Repeat the previous step to select more programs.
(3). To confirm and exit the menu, press EXIT key. Disable a skip TV or Radio
program: Press the GREEN button on the skip program with the skip symbol.
Move a TV or Radio Program
(1). Select the preferred program then press the RED button.
A move symbol will appear.

Lock Program
You can lock selected programs for restricted view. Lock a TV or Radio Program:

3). To confirm and exit the menu, press the EXIT button

The EPG is an on-screen TV guide that shows scheduled programs seven days in
advance for every tuned channel. Press the EPG button on the Remote Control to
access guide.
You can use the UP/DOWN key to select the preferred program. If there is more than
one page of information, use the BLUE button for page up and the YELLOW button
for page down.

Sort your channels from the following options:
[LCN] - Sort the channels in ascending order
[Name] - Sort the channels in alphabetical order
[Service ID] - Sort the channels according to the station

5) Video Setting
To access the Menu, press MENU then select [Picture]. The Menu
provides options to adjust the video settings. Press UP/DOWN to select an option
and press RIGHT/LEFT to adjust that setting. Press EXIT to exit the menu.
(1) . Auto Search
Search and install all channels automatically. This option overwrites all preset
channels.
a. Select [Auto Search] and press OK or RIGHT to start channel search.
B. To cancel channel search, press EXIT.
(1). Aspect Ratio
You must set the display format to either 4:3 Full, 4:3 PanScan, 4:3 Letter Box,16:9
Full Screen, 16:9 wide Screen, 16:9 Pillar Box Auto or Auto to get the maximum
display when watching TV.
(2). TV format
If the video does not appear correctly, you need to change the settings.
This should match the most common setting for TVs in your country.
[NTSC]: for NTSC system TV.
[PAL]: for PAL system TV.
3) Channel Search
To access the menu, press MENU select [Search Channel]. The enu provides
options to adjust the earch hannel settings.

(2). Manual Search
Install new channels manually. This option adds new channels without changing the
current channels list.
A. Select [Manual Search] then press OK or RIGHT. The channel search screen will
appear.

If a channel is found, it is saved and added to the channels list. If channels can't be
found, then exit the menu.
(3). Country
Select your country of residence.
(4). Antenna power
Enable Antenna Power if an external active antenna is connected.

4) Time Setting
To access the enu, press MENU select [Time]. The enu provides options to
adjust the time settings.

Select auto or manual for GMT offset adjustments.
(2) Country Region
Select the Country Region when [Time Offset] is set to Auto.
(3) Time Zone
Select the Time Zone Offset when [Time Offset] is set to Manual.

To access the Menu, press MENU and select [Option]. The menu provides options to
adjust the OSD Language, Subtitle Language and Audio Language.
Select an option and press RIGHT/LEFT to adjust the setting. Press EXIT to exit the
Menu.

Select the preferred audio language for watching TV channels.
If the language is not available, the default program language will be used.

You can restrict access to channels that are unsuitable
for children. To restrict/lock the channel you will need to enter either the default
password 888888 or your own password.
(2) Set Password
Set or change the password for locked programs. Enter your old password or the
default password 888888 . You will then be asked to
enter your new password. To confirm re-enter your new password. Once it is
confirmed, press EXIT to exit the Menu.
(3) Restore Factory Default
Reset your Set Top Box to the Default Factory Settings.
In Main Menu select [Restore Factory Default] and press OK or RIGHT to select.
Enter your password or the default password ‘’ and press OK to confirm.
This option will delete all preset channels and settings.

Trouble-shooting
Carry out the problem-solving measures described in the following section before
