28. The usb memory stick should be plugged into the unit directly. Don’t use an usb extension
cable because it can cause interference resulting in failing of data.

filled with liquids, such as vases,are placed on or near the apparatu s.

30. To completely disconnect the power input, the mains plug of the apparatus shall be
disconnected from the mains, as the disconnect dev ice is the mains plug of apparatus.

This TV stores max. 2000 satellite-channels (DTV + Radio + Data). If you tune 2 satellites,
tune one first, then delete unwanted channels. When done, start tuning the second
satellite. Otherwise, tuning will not store all channels from the second satellite, because
limit is 2000 channels for satellite-tuner.

Main Menu Operation

Channel Menu

Press MENU button to display the main menu. Press ◄/► button to select CHANNEL in
the main menu.

(Apply to DVL-3252WH, DVL-3252BK)

1. Press ▼/▲ button to select the option that you want to adjust in the CHANNEL menu.

2. Press OK button to select.

3. After finishing your adjustment, Press OK button to save and return to the previous
menu.

Auto Tuning
Refer to P.13 and P.14.

ATV Manual Tuning
Press MENU, then choose ATV Manual Tuning.

Current CH
Set the channel number.

Color System
Select the color system
(Available System: AUTO, PAL, SECAM)

Sound System
Select the Sound system

Fine-Tune
Adjust the frequency of the channel finely.

Search
Start searching channel by presing ► button.
Once a channel is found, it will automatically stored.
Repeat the step by changing the channel number.

DTV Manual Tuning
DVB-T Manual Tuning:

Enter the DTV Manual Tuning. Press ◄/► button to adjust the channel and press OK
button to manual tune.

DVB-C Manual Tuning:

Enter the CADTV Manual Tuning. Press ▲/▼ button to select the item and press ◄/►
button to adjust the “Frequency”, “Symbol”, “QAM Type” and press OK button to manual
tune.

Program Edit
Press ▼/▲ button to select Program Edit, then press OK button to enter sub-menu.

The three colored key is the shortcut key for programming the channel. First press ▼/▲ to
highlight the channel you want to select, then:
Press the Red button to delete the program in the list.
Press the Yellow button to move the channel in favorite list.
Press the Blue button to skip the selected channel.
Press Fav button to add or remove the channel to/from your favorite list. (Your TV set will
skip the channel automatically when using CH+/- to view the channels.)

Signal Information
Press ▼/▲ button to select Signal Information, press the OK button to see the detail
information about the signal. Only available when there is signal in DTV.

Picture Menu

Press MENU button to display the main menu. Press ◄/► button to select PICTURE in the
main menu.

1. Press ▼/▲ button to select the option that you want to adjust in the PICTURE menu.

2. Press OK button to adjust.

3. After finishing your adjustment, Press MENU button to save and return back to the
previous menu.

Picture Mode

Press ▼/▲ button to select Picture Mode, then press OK button to enter sub-menu.
You can change the value of contrast, brightness, color, sharpness and tint when the
picture is in Personal mode.
TIPS: You can press PMODE button to change the Picture Mode directly.

Contrast/Brightness/Color/Tint/Sharpness

Press ▼/▲ button to select option, then press ◄/► button to adjust.

Contrast

Brightness
Colo

Adjust the saturation of the color.
Tint Adjust the compensating color change.
Sharpness Adjust the sharpness in the detail of the picture.

Adjust the contrast intensity of the picture, but the shadow of the picture
is invariable.
Adjust the brightness output of the entire picture.

Color Temp
Change the overall colorcast of the picture.
Press ▼/▲ button to select Color Temperature, then press OK button to enter sub-menu.
Press ◄/►button to select. (Available color temperatures: Cool, Medium, Warm).
You can change the value of red, green and blue when the color temperature is in User
mode.

Cold Increase the blue tone for the white.
Normal
Warm Increase the red color for the white.

Noise Reduction

To filter out and reduces the image noise and improve picture quality. Press ▼/▲ button to
select Noise Reduction, then press OK button to enter sub-menu.

Increase the Six-linked colors for the white.

Low
Middle
High
Default Set as Default.

Select to turn off video noise detection.
Detect and reduce low video noise.
Detect and reduce moderate video noise.
Detect and reduce enhanced video noise.

Sound Mode
Press ▼/▲ button to select Sound Mode, then press OK button to enter sub-menu.
Press ▼/▲ button to select.
You can change the value of Treble and Bass when the sound is in Personal mode.
TIPS: You can press the Sound button on the remote control to change the Sound Mode
directly.

Default Produces a balanced sound in all environments.
Music Preserves the original sound. Good for musical programs.
Movie Enhances treble and bass for a rich sound experience.
Sports Enhances vocals for sports.
Personal (user­defined)

Note: The treble and bass are only available in User mode, you can adjust them as you
like.

Press ▼/▲ button to select option, then press ◄/► button to adjust.
Auto Volume level
Press ▼/▲ button to select Auto Volume Level, then press ◄/► button to select On or Off.
SPDIF Mode
Press ▼/▲ button to select SPDIF Mode, then press ◄/► button to select Off/PCM/Auto.
AD Switch
Press ▼/▲ button to select AD Switch, then press ◄/► button to select On or Off.
Amblyopia function for the blind, the tracks will be mixed describe the current screen.

NOTE:
Balance: This item can adjust the speaker’s output, it enables you to listen to best at your

position.
Auto Volume: This item is used for reducing the difference between channel and program’s
volume automatically.

Time Menu

main menu.

1. Press ▼/▲ button to select the option that you want to adjust in the TIME menu.

2. Press OK button to adjust.

3. After finishing your adjustment, Press OK button to save and return to the previous

menu.

Time Zone
Press ▼/▲/◄/► button to select time zone, then press "OK" button to confirm selection
and enter the sub-menu.

Sleep Timer

Press ▼/▲ button to select Sleep Timer, then press "OK" button to confirm selection and
enter the sub-menu.
(Available options are: 0ff, 10min, 20min, 30min, 60min, 90min, 120min, 180min, 240min).

Auto Standby

Press ▼/▲ button to select Auto Standby, then press "OK" button to confirm selection and
enter the sub-menu.
Tips: If the remote control is uesd during the standby time, it will restart again from zero.

OSD Timer

Press ▼/▲ button to select OSD Timer, then press "OK" button to confirm selection and
enter the sub-menu.

Press MENU button to display the main menu. Press ◄/► button to select Lock in the main
menu.

1. Press ▼/▲ button to select the option that you want to adjust in the LOCK SYSTEM

menu.

2. Press OK/◄/► button to adjust.

3. After finishing your adjustment, Press MENU button to return back to the previous

menu.

Lock System

Press ▼/▲ button to select Lock System, then press OK button to make the following 3
options valid.
Default password is 0000

Set Password

Press ▼/▲ button to select Set Password, then press OK button to enter sub-menu to set
new password.

Channel Lock

Press ▼/▲ button to select Channel Lock then press OK button to enter sub-menu to
select.
Press

Green button to lock or unlock the channel.

Parental Guidance

Press ▼/▲ button to select Parental Guidance, then press OK button to enter sub-menu to
select the number of age which is suitable for your children.

Key Lock
Press ▼/▲ button to select Key Lock, then press ◄/► button to select Off or On.
When Key Lock’s statue is on, you can’t use the Key panel button.

Hotel Mode

1. Press ▼/▲ button on the remote control to select hotel mode in the Lock menu.

2. Press OK button on the remote control to enter the sub-menu.

3. After finishing your adjustment, Press MENU button to save and return back to the

previous menu.

Hotel Mode
Press ▼/▲ button to select Hotel Mode, then press ◄/► button to select on or off.

Source Lock
Press ▼/▲ button to select Source Locke, then press OK button to enter sub-menu to
select.

Default Source
Press ▼/▲ button to select Default Source, then press OK button to enter sub-menu to
select.

Default Prog
Press ▼/▲ button to select Default Prog, then press ◄/► button to adjust.
It is available when the default source is TV.

Max Volume
Press ▼/▲ button to select Max Volume, then press ◄/► button to adjust.

Clear Lock
Press ▼/▲ button to select Clear Lock, then press OK button to clear the setting you have
done before.

Press MENU button to display the main menu.
Press ◄/► button to select SETUP in the main menu.

1. Press ▼/▲ button to select the option that you want to adjust in the SETUP menu.

2. Press OK button to adjust.

3. After finishing your adjustment, Press OK button to save and return to the previous

OSD Language
Select an OSD menu language can be displayed. Default German (Deutsch) is selected as
menu language.
Press ▼/▲/◄/► button to select Menu Language.

Audio Languages

Hearing Impaired

Aspect Ratio
Press ▼/▲ button to select Aspect Ratio, then press OK button to enter sub-menu.
Press ▼/▲ button to select aspect ratio. (Available options are: Auto, 4:3, 16:9, Zoom1,
Zoom2).

Press ▼/▲ button to select Software Update (USB), plug your USB device in the USB slot,

Audio Receive

Press ◄/►button to turn the Audio Receiver on or off.

Screen Menu (Under PC mode only)

Auto Adjust
Press OK button to start adjusting H-Offset/V-Offset/Size/Phase automatically.

H-Offset.
Adjust the horizontal position of the picture.
Press ◄/► button to select H-Offset, then press OK button to enter sub-menu.

V-Offset
Adjust the vertical position of the picture.
Press ◄/► button to select V-Offset, then press OK button to enter sub-menu.

Screen size
Adjust the display size.
Press ◄/► button to select Size, then press OK button to enter sub-menu.

Phase
Adjust the horizontal interfering lines.
Press ◄/► button to select Phase, then press OK button to enter sub-menu.

Press OK button to select Position Reset, then press OK button to enter.

Notes:

1. Noise Reduction in PICTURE option is invalid.

2. AD Switch in SOUND option is invalid.

3. TIME menu and description are the same as that for Air mode.

4. Block Program and Parental Guidance in LOCK option is invalid.

5. Audio Languages, Subtitle Language, Hearing Impaired and PVR File System in

SETUP option is invalid.

6. PC mode has no CHANNEL menu.

Media Operation

Note: Before operating Media menu, Plug in USB device, then press INPUT button to set
the Input Source to Media.
Press ▼/▲ button to select Media in the Source menu, then press OK button to enter.

Press ◄/► button to select the option you want to adjust in the main Media menu, then
press OK button to enter.

Photo Menu
Press ◄/► button to select PHOTO in the main menu, then press OK button to enter.
Press Exit button to return to the previous menu and exit menu to quit.

Press ◄/► button to select the file you want to watch in the file selecting menu, then press
media button to display picture.

When highlighting the option you select, the file information will appear on the right and
picture will be previewed in the center.

DVD Operation

Basic Operation

Press the Power button on the TV or the remote control, then press the INPUT button to
select DVD mode.

If there is no disc in the DVD player the screen will show "NO DISC".
Insert Disc according to picture next to disc slot. Do not touch the playing surface.
Hold the disc around the outside with your fingers and place the disc into the slot. The
player will automatically draw the disc into the player.
To "Eject" the disc, press the EJECT button on the TV or the " " button on the remote
control.

Disc Eject
If not in DVD-mode, press INPUT-key on remote and select DVD. Press OK.
Press -key on remote. Disc ejects.

Return to Tuner-mode (watch TV)
Press INPUT-key on remote. See the INPUT SOURCE window appear. Select DTV or
Satellite and press OK-key.

DVD Setup Mode
 Setup Mode provides the menu for the configuration of General Setup Page, Audio

This is selected when the player is connected to a wide-screen TV.

This is used to select the OSD language.

Screen Saver
Start the screen saver, the screen saver image will appear when the player stops or the
picture is frozen for a few minutes. This saver can keep the screen from being damaged.

Last Memory
Can set the items on the last memory, "on" and "off" option.
 On (Start the memory): The DVD will start playing at the last time position of previous

play.

 Off (Remove the memory): When turning on the DVD, the last position will not be

Deze tv slaat max. 2000 satellietkanalen op (DTV + radio + gegevens). Als u 2
satellieten afstemt, stem er dan eerst één af en verwijder vervolgens ongewenste
kanalen. Wanneer dit is gedaan, begin dan de tweede satelliet af te stemmen. De
afstemming zal anders niet alle kanalen van de tweede satelliet opslaan, omdat de
limiet voor de satellietafstemming 2000 kanalen is.

Kanaalmenu

Druk op de toets MENU om het hoofdmenu weer te geven. Druk op de toets ◄/► om
CHANNEL (Kanaal) te selecteren in het hoofdmenu.

Zoeken

Zodra er een kanaal is gevonden, dan wordt deze automatisch opgeslagen.
Herhaal de stap door het kanaalnummer te veranderen.

DTV Manual Tuning (DTV Handmatig Afstemmen)
DVB-T handmatig afstemmen:

Open de optie DTV Handmatig Afstemmen. Druk op de toets ◄/► om het kanaal te
veranderen en druk op de toets OK om handmatig af te stemmen.

DVB-C handmatig afstemmen:

Open de optie CADTV Handmatig Afstemmen. Druk op de toets ▲/▼ om de optie te
selecteren, druk op de toets ◄/► om “Frequentie”, “Symbool” en “QAM-type” aan te
passen en druk op de toets OK om handmatig af te stemmen.

Program Edit (Programma bewerken)
Druk op de toets ▼/▲ om Program Edit (Programma bewerken) te selecteren en druk
vervolgens op de toets OK om het submenu te openen.

De drie gekleurde toetsen dienen als snelkoppelingen voor de programmering van het
kanaal. Druk eerst op ▼/▲ om het kanaal te markeren dat u wilt selecteren en hierna:
Druk op de Rode toets om het programma in de lijst te wissen.
Druk op de Gele toets om het kanaal in de favorietenlijst te verplaatsen.
Druk op de Blauwe toets om het geselecteerde kanaal over te slaan.
Druk op de toets Fav om het kanaal aan/uit uw favorietenlijst toe te voegen/verwijderen.
(Uw tv zal het kanaal automatisch overslaan wanneer CH+/- wordt gebruikt om de kanalen
te bekijken.)

Signaalinformatie
Druk op de toets ▼/▲ om Signal Information (Signaalinformatie) en druk vervolgens op
de toets OK om gedetailleerde informatie over het signaal weer te geven. Alleen
beschikbaar wanneer een DTV-signaal wordt ontvangen.

Picture Mode (Beeldmodus)

U kunt de waarden van de opties contrast, helderheid, kleur, scherpte en tint veranderen
wanneer ingesteld op de modus Personal (Persoonlijk).
TIPS: U kunt op de toets PMODE drukken om de beeldmodus direct te veranderen.

Contrast/Helderheid/Kleur/Tint/Scherpte

Color Temp (Kleurtemp)
De totale kleuruitzending van het beeld veranderen.
Druk op de toets ▼/▲ om Color Temperature (Kleurtemperatuur) te selecteren en druk
vervolgens op de toets OK om het submenu te openen.
Druk op de toets ◄/► om te selecteren. (Beschikbare kleurtemperaturen: Koel, Gemiddeld,
Warm).
U kunt de waarden aanpassen van de rode, groene en blauwe kleur wanneer de
kleurtemperatuur is ingesteld op de modus User (Gebruiker).

Koud De blauwe toon voor het wit verhogen.
Normaal
Warm De rode kleur voor het wit verhogen.

Noise Reduction (Ruisonderdrukking)

De beeldruis filteren en verlagen om de beeldkwaliteit te verbeteren. Druk op de toets ▼/▲
om Noise Reduction (Ruisonderdrukking) te selecteren en druk vervolgens op de toets OK
om het submenu te openen.

De zes kleuren voor het wit verhogen.

U kunt de waarde aanpassen van de hoge en lage tonen wanneer de geluidsmodus is

Druk op de toets ▼/▲ om SPDIF Mode (SPDIF-modus) te selecteren en druk vervolgens
op de toets ◄/► om Uit/PCM/Auto te selecteren.
AD Switch (AD-schakelaar)
Druk op de toets ▼/▲ om AD Switch (AD-schakelaar) te selecteren en druk vervolgens op
de toets ◄/► om Aan of Uit te selecteren.
Amblyopiefunctie voor slechtzienden, de tracks zullen worden gemixt om het huidige
scherm te beschrijven.
Deze optie moet door de codestream worden ondersteund.

OPMERKING:
Balance (Balans): U kunt met deze optie de luidsprekeruitgang optimaal aanpassen

gebaseerd op uw luisterpositie.
Auto Volume (Automatische volume): Deze optie wordt gebruikt om het volumeverschil
tussen het kanaal en programma automatisch te reduceren.

Selecteer deze optie om de geluidsinstellingen naar wens in te
stellen.

Opmerkingen:

1. Ruisonderdrukking is ongeldig in de optie BEELD.

2. AD-schakelaar is ongeldig in de optie GELUID.

3. Het menu TIJD en de beschrijving zijn hetzelfde als voor de modus Air.

4. Programmablokkering en Kinderslot zijn ongeldig in de optie VERGRENDELING.

5. Audiotalen, Ondertitelingstaal, Slechthorenden en PVR-bestandssysteem zijn ongeldig

in de optie INSTELLING.

6. De PC-modus heeft geen KANAALMENU.

Bediening DVD

Basisbediening

Druk de aan-/uittoets op de TV of de afstandsbediening en druk dan de toets INPUT om de
DVD-modus te selecteren.
Als er zich geen disc in de DVD-speler bevindt, geeft het scherm “NO DISC” (GEEN DISC) aan.
Steek een disc in de sleuf voor de disc, in overeenstemming met de afbeelding ernaast.
Raak het af te spelen oppervlak niet aan.
Houd de disc met uw vingers aan de buitenrand vast en steek hem in de sleuf. De speler
trekt de disc automatisch in de speler.
Druk om de disc “Uit te werpen” op de uitwerptoets op de TV of de toets “ ” op de
afstandsbediening.

Disk uitwerpen
Indien niet in DVD-modus, druk op de toets INPUT op de afstandsbediening en selecteer
DVD. Druk op OK.
Druk op de toets op de afstandsbediening. De disk wordt uitgeworpen.

Terugkeren naar Tunermodus (TV kijken)
Druk op de toets INPUT op de afstandsbediening. Het venster INGANGSBRON zal
verschijnen. Selecteer DTV of Satelliet en druk op de toets OK.

Modus instellen DVD
 De instellingenmodus voorziet in het menu voor de configuratie van de pagina's

algemene instellingen, audio-instellingen, Dolby Digital, installatie en voorkeuren.

 Een artikel wordt in het Instellingenmenu geselecteerd door middel van de

pijltjestoetsen voor navigatie, de toets SETUP en de toets OK.

 Druk eerst de toets SETUP, ga naar het Instellingenmenu en druk dan de

PIJLTJESTOETS RECHTS om naar het volgende submenu te gaan.

 Druk nogmaals op de toets SETUP om het installatiemenu te verlaten.

TV-beeld

- 4:3 PS
Deze optie wordt geselecteerd als de DVD-speler op een normale TV is aangesloten.
Breedbeeld wordt op het scherm weergegeven, maar sommige delen worden automatisch
afgesneden.

- 4:3 LB
Deze optie wordt geselecteerd als de speler op een normale TV is aangesloten. Er wordt
breedbeeld op het scherm weergegeven, met een zwarte balk onderaan en bovenaan het
scherm.

- 16:9
Deze optie wordt geselecteerd als de speler op een breedbeeld-TV is aangesloten.

OSD Language (OSD Taal)

Dit wordt gebruikt om de taal voor het OSD-menu te selecteren.

Screen Saver (Schermbeveiliging)
Start de schermbeveiliging: de afbeelding van de schermbeveiliging verschijnt wanneer de
speler stopt of de afbeelding voor enkele minuten is bevroren. Deze beveiliging voorkomt
dat het scherm wordt beschadigd.

 On (Aan) (start de schermbeveiliging)
 Off (Uit) (Verwijder de schermbeveiliging).

Last Memory (Laatste geheugen)
Deze optie kan de laatste instellingen van het geheugen bewaren, als tijdens het instellen
het apparaat wordt uitgeschakeld. Opties: On (Aan) en Off (Uit).
 On (Aan) (Start het geheugen) Het afspelen van de DVD zal worden gestart vanaf de

laatste tijdpositie of vanaf de vorige track.

 Off (Uit) (Wis het geheugen). Wanneer u de DVD inschakelt, dan zal de laatste positie

niet onthouden zijn.
