Keep these instructions in mind:
Do not use this unit near water.

This unit has been produced according to a ll curren t safety regulations. The following safet y tips sho uld safeguard users against careless
use and the dangers connected with such use.
Although this unit has been carefu lly manufact
ured and rigorously checked before leaving the factory, as with all electrical appliances,
it is possible for problem s to develop. If you noti ce smoke, an excessive build up of heat or any other unexpected phenomena, you
should disconnect the plug from the mains p ower socke t immediately.
This unit must operate on a power source specied on the specication label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply used in
your
home, consult your dealer or local power compa n y.
The socketoutlet must be installed near the equip men t and must be easily accessible.
Do not overload AC outlets or extension cords . Ove rloading ca n cause re or electric shock.
Units with Class 1 construction shall be con nected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.
Always hold the plug when pulling out the p lug fro m the mains s upply socket. Do not
pul l the power co rd. This can cause a short
circuit.
The screen is made of plastic and can b reak if damag e is done to it. W hen broken, be careful with sharp edged plastic splinters to
avoid injury.
When the unit is not used for long periods of time , unplug the AC power c able for safety reasons.
Do NOT tap or shake the screen, you may dama ge the internal circuits.
Take good care of the remote control, do not dro p.
To
clean the TV use a soft dry cloth. Do NOT use s olvents or petrol based u ids. For stubborn stains , you may use a damp cloth with
dilute detergent.
Where to install
Locate the TV awa y from direct sunlight and a stron g light, soft indirect lighting is recommended for comfortable viewing.
Use curtains or blinds to prevent direct sunlight f alling on the screen. When the TV is put awa y place it on a sturdy
platform of which the surf
ace should be at and st eady. This w ill prevent it from falling over. Make sure the TV is located
in a position where it cannot be pushed or hit by o bjects, as pressure will break or damage the screen , and so that small
objects cannot be inserted into the ventilation slo ts or openings in the cabinet.

Commission of the Europe an Community.
