1. Introduction

The On-Q/Legrand Diplex Filter Assembly, P/N 364218-01, (see Figure 1) is to be used with the On-Q Diplex
Filter Module and any On-Q Multi-Switches for distributing satellite signals and CATV signals over a single cable.

2. Description

The On-Q Diplex Filter Assembly attaches to the Satellite Receiver.

3. Installation

A. Refer to Figure 2.

1) Route RG6 cable from outlet to the “IN” fitting on the assembly.

2) Connect cable from “ANTENNA” output to satellite receiver.

3) Connect cable from “SATELLITE” output to satellite receiver.

4) Connect “out to TV” on satellite receiver to TV input.

NOTE: On-Q recommends using RG-6 quad-shield solid copper cable in lieu of copper clad steel, especially with
applications that involve distributing DC voltages. Solid copper offers less DC resistance than copper clad steel
and thus less of a voltage drop. Many manufactures of 3
use copper clad steel for this reason. Use of copper clad steel could result in voltage drop significant enough to
interfere with a DC voltage dependant device’s operation. As in any RF or RF/DC application, try to avoid
excessively long runs.
