HOWPROBUSH
L eC roy’s ProBus probe system provides a complet e measurement solution from probe
tip to oscil l oscope display.
ProBus allows you to control tran sparent gain and offset direc tly from your front panel — part icularly useful for volt age, differential , and cur rent active probes. It uploads gain and offset correction fact ors from the P roB us E PR OM S , and aut omat ical ly com pensat es to achi eve fully calibrated m ea surem ents.
T his int elligent interconnect ion between your Waver unner scope and a wide range of accessories offers important advantages over standard BN C and probe ring connections. P roBus ensures correct input coupl ing by auto-s ens ing the probe t ype, eliminating t he guesswork and errors t hat occur when attenuation or ampli fication factors are set manually.
