Q: I have been having trouble viewing the files on my DigiPad (.dot) file to the computer. Can
you provide me wit h som e as s is tance? I have tried in the free software that comes with the
product but neither if they seem to work.
A: Here is the information you are after:
1. Ensure that the all the software from the 2 software CDs have been installed and the
pad is connected to the PC.
2. To access the files that have been saved on the Digipad, open the RiteMail program.
It is found in the EverNote program group in the start menu.
3. From the top menu bar select “File” > “Open” browse through to the drive that has
been assigned to the pad or pads card reader. At the bottom of the “Open” box you
will see a pull down menu for “files of types”. Using this pull down menu, change the
type to “Digital Ink Pad Files (*.top)” and all your saved work will be displayed.
4. Select the file you need and it will now be displayed in the RiteMail program. From
there you can do with the file as required.
