The hearin g amplier is a d evice to help pe ople hear
better. It do es this by amplifying s ounds and then
transmit ting these to the ear. Th e hearing ampli er
can neithe r prevent nor all eviate organi cally cause d
hearing loss. The hearing amplier oers you a variety
of applica tions. Reg ardless of wh ether you want
to watch a lm, ch at with frien ds or just feel like
listening t o the sounds of nature in th e woods, the
hearing am plier hel ps you to hear so unds loude r
and more clearly.
WARNIN G AND SAFET Y NOTES
You must have your he aring checked by a d octor or
qualied hearing amplier acoustician before using
the hearin g amplier. Th e settings o f the hearing
amplier s hould only be a djusted by a tra ined exper t,
for examp le an ENT spec ialist, an au diologis t or a
qualied hearing amplier retailer.
In the event of an e xisting or previ ous ear problem,
you should co nsult your do ctor befo re using the
hearing amplier.
The device m ust NOT be used for pa tients suerin g

At rst, set t he volume to a low set ting and incre ase
it graduall y once you have become accu stomed to
the hearing amplier.
Do NOT set the volum e control too hig h, as this may
cause fur ther damage to hear ing over an extend ed
period of t ime. This is par ticularly i mportant to n ote,
as the device a chieves a high out put power.
Do NOT lend your hea ring amplie r to others or use
the hearin g ampliers of other s, as there is a risk of
hearing da mage and infect ion.
Do NOT pass o n your hearing amplie r for use by
other per sons. The us e of a hearing amp lier that was
designed f or someone e lse may cause h earing damag e.
The hearin g amplier is NOT su itable for us e for small

the device. S upervise chi ldren around the d evice to
ensure they d o not play with it.

Do NOT touch the mag nets of the hear ing amplier
as this may dama ge the device.
Do NOT tou ch the inside of t he device. There are
many sensiti ve parts that have bee n precisely congured. Un der no circum stances sho uld you poke
at the inside o f the hearing amplie r with a needle
or similar ob ject.

Make sure the re are no foreign objec ts in between
the earplu g and headph ones, as this c ould impair
the sound.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Always keep t he hearing ampli er clean.
Remove the b atteries f rom the devi ce each time
before cleaning.
Please alway s treat the prod uct with car e and prevent
the earplu g and acousti c opening fr om becomin g
obstruc ted with foreign matt er. This impair s the
functio n of the sound amplica tion.
Clean the hea ring amplier an d the earplugs wi th a
clean, dr y cloth after eac h use. If they are ver y dirty,
you can also m oisten the clot h with a mild soa py solu-

INITIAL USE AND OPERATION
Remove the he aring ampl ier from th e packagin g
and check th at the device an d all accessories are
included and not damaged.
01 Op en the battery c ompartment on t he
hearing amplier as shown. [
02 Ins ert the button ce ll batteries (A13) included
in the delive ry into the batt ery compartm ent
as shown. Ensu re that the correc t polarity
( / ) is observ ed. [
03 Clos e the battery co mpartment
again. Now co nnect your desi red
earplug to th e headphones. [

Make sure the volu me control is
initially se t to the lowest setti ng before
operating th e hearing ampli er.
04 Bri ng the hearing amp lier up to your ear as
shown. Slow ly insert the ea rplug into your
ear canal ap plying no force. Ma ke sure not to
insert th e earplug too dee ply into the ear cana l.
If the earpl ug is not properl y in place or feels
uncomfor table, try a di erent earplug.
05 Use th e volume control to ad just the
volume to the d esired level so tha t you can
hear sounds clearly and distinctly. [

If your skin o r eyes come into contact w ith battery

medical assistance.
Choking ha zard! Small children m ay swallow and
choke on bat teries. Store the batt eries out of th e
reach of smal l children.
Observe t he plus and minus polarit y signs.
If a batter y has leaked, p ut on protecti ve gloves and
clean the bat tery comp artment wit h a dry cloth.
Risk of exp losion! Never thro w batteries into a r e.
If the devic e is not to be used fo r a relatively l ong period, take the b atteries ou t of the batter y compart ment.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Battery disposal
The empt y, completely at b atteries mu st be dispose d
of through sp ecially designated co llectio n boxes,
recyclin g points or el ectronic s retailers . You are legally
required t o dispose of the b atteries.
The codes b elow are printe d on batteri es containing
harmful substances:

• Cd = Batter y contains cadmiu m,
• Hg = Batter y contains mercu ry.
General disposal
For environm ental reasons, do not di spose of the
device in the h ousehold wa ste at the end of it s useful
life. Disp ose of the unit at a suit able local coll ection

perte d'audition d'origine organique. L'amplicateur
auditif ore une grande variété d’applications. Que

ou que vous ayez j uste envie d’écoute r les bruits de
la nature dans les bois, l'amplicateur auditif restitue
des sons plu s forts et plus c lairs.

PREMIÈRE UTILISATION ET FONCTIONNEMENT
Retirez l ’amplicateu r auditif de s on emballag e et
vériez qu e le dispositif et to us ses accessoire s sont
présents et ne sont pas endommagés.
01 Ouv rez le compart iment à piles de l’am-
plicateu r auditif comme ind iqué.
02 Ins érez les piles bou tons (A13) fournies

qui peut engendrer un dysfonctionnement
de l’amplic ateur auditif dans c ertaines

Geef uw hoorapparaat NOOIT door aan anderen
zodat die het kunnen gebruiken. Een hoorapparaat
gebruiken dat voor iemand anders is ontworpen, kan
leiden tot gehoorschade.
Het hoorapparaat is NIET geschikt voor kinderen
jonger dan 3 6 maanden.
Bij kinderen een diagnose van gehoorproblemen
stellen is bijzonder moeilijk. Kinderen mogen alleen
een hoorapparaat krijgen na een grondig onderzoek
door een k no-arts.
Houd het hoorapparaat, het toebehoren en de batte-
rijen buiten het bereik van kinderen, want er bestaat
verwondingsen verstikkingsgevaar.
Dit apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt door perso-
nen (inclus ief kinder en) met fysi eke, zintuiglijke of
mentale beperkingen of met gebrek aan ervaring
en/of kennis, te nzij ze onder toe zicht staan van ee n
persoo n die verantwo ordelijk is voo r hun veilighei d
of van die persoon instructies voor het gebruik van
het apparaat hebben gekregen. Houd kinderen in de
gaten zodat z e niet met het ap paraat kunne n spelen.
In geval van een bestaand of vroeger oorprobleem
moet u uw ar ts raadplegen, vo ordat u het hoorapparaat gebruikt.
Het appar aat mag NIET worden gebruikt door patienten met ee n oorontstek ing of -infec tie.
Gebruik het hoorapparaat NIET als u een middenoorof gehoorgangontsteking hebt.
Als u zich niet g oed voelt of p ijn ervaar t bij het drage n
van het hoorapparaat, stop dan onmiddellijk met
het te gebru iken en neem cont act op met uw ar ts
Als u bij het dr agen van het hoor apparaat last k rijgt
van een oorontsteking, huidirritatie of een verhoogde
productie van oorsmeer, stop dan onmiddellijk met
het te gebru iken en neem con tact op met uw a rts.
Stop met het hoorapparaat te gebruiken en raadpleeg
uw arts in volgende gevallen:
•
u krijgt hui duitslag o f eczeem op p laatsen waar
de huid in aanr aking komt met het hoor apparaat. (De onderdelen van het hoorapparaat die
in aanraking komen met de huid zijn vervaardigd
uit een huidvriendelijk materiaal. Toch kunnen in
zeldzame gevallen allergische reacties optreden
in de vorm van e czeem. )
•
door het gebruik van het hoorapparaat krijgt u
een loopoor en/of moet u een oorbehandeling
ondergaan.
•
uw hoorv ermogen gaat e r plots sterk o p achteruit.
Raadpleeg onmiddellijk uw arts als onderdelen van
het hoora pparaat in uw o or komen vast te zitten .
Probeer de onderdelen niet zelf te verwijderen.
Stel het volum e eerst laag i n en verhoog he t geleide lijk aan, zod ra u aan het hoor apparaat gew end bent.
Zet de volumeregelaar NIET te hoog, want di t kan op
termijn lei den tot nog meer geho orschade. U mag
niet verge ten dat het apparaat e en hoog uitgangsvermogen bereikt.
Leen uw hoorapparaat NOOIT aan anderen of gebruik
NOOIT het hoorapparaat van anderen, want dan kunt
u gehoorschade of een infectie oplopen.
Geef uw hoorapparaat NOOIT door aan anderen

Gebruik het hoorapparaat NIET in mogelijkerwijs
explosieve en gevaarlijke omgevingen.
Gebruik het apparaat NIET in zuurstofrijke omgevingen en gedurende een zeer lange periode.
Neem conta ct op met de fabri kant:
als u hulp nodi g hebt bij het ins tellen, het g ebruik of
•
het onderhoud van het hoorapparaat; of
•
als het apparaat niet naar behoren werkt of anderszins.
Gebruik NOOIT een beschadigd hoorapparaat. Neem
bij twijf el contact o p met uw audicien of met de
Klantendienst op het vermelde adres
Schakel he t apparaat onmid dellijk uit als he t defect
is of niet naar b ehoren werk t.
Probeer no oit zelf het hoor apparaat te opene n en/
of te reparer en. Repar aties moge n alleen doo r de
Klantendienst of door erkende audiciens worden
uitgevoerd. Als u het apparaat toch repareert, vervalt
de waarborg.
