POWER UP

1. Insert 2-AA batteries into your sensor.

2.Insert the 5.0 volt power cord into an outlet, then into your station.

3.Optional: Install 3-AA batteries into your station.

4.Once the sensor is reading to your station, place sensor outside in a shaded location. Watch sensor mounting video: http://bit.ly/TH_SensorMounting

ATOMIC TIME SIGNAL

• The station will search for the atomic signal at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.

• If there is no WWVB atomic time reception, the station will search for the signal every 2 hours until the signal is received.

• The atomic time signal icon will ﬂash while searching. The tower icon will be solid when it has connected.

• After reception, station searches for the atomic signal after midnight.

• From normal time display, press and release the SET button to search for the WWVB atomic time signal.

SETTINGS

• Hold, then release the SET button to enter the Settings Menu.

• Press and release the + or - buttons to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly.

• Press and release the SET button to conﬁrm and move to the next item.

• Press and release the BACKLIGHT button any time to exit settings.

5. DST ON/OFF

6. 12H/24H

7. Hour

8. Minutes

9. Year

10. Month

11. Date

12. Fahrenheit/Celsius

Note: Weekday will set automatically as Year, Month and Date are set. Note: When Español is selected, instructions will be in Spanish. Note: When Atomic OFF is selected, move directly to 12/24 hour time.

AST = Atlantic EST = Eastern CST = Central MST = Mountain PST = Paciﬁc AKT = Alaska HAT = Hawaii

INDOOR | OUTDOOR COMFORT CHARTS

• Indoor & Outdoor comfort charts keep you informed when the humidity is at a comfortable level.

• The bar over the chart will move to indicate the humidity level.

OTHER BUTTON FUNCTIONS

• BACKLIGHT: Press to adjust or turn off backlight.

• ALERTS: Hold enter alert set mode. Press the + or - button to arm or disarm an alert. Press ALERTS to toggle between armed alerts. Press the + or - button to set alert values.

• Hold ALARM: Set alarm time. Use the + or - button to adjust. Press ALARM button to confirm.

• SNOOZE: Press SNOOZE (when alarm sounds): To silence alarm for 10 minutes.

• Press ALARM: To view alarm time. Press again to activate/deactivate time alarm. The alarm icon will display when active.

• Press SET: Start or stop WWVB search. Tower icon will ﬂash.

• TEMP: Press to view daily HI and LO Temperature, Humidity, Heat Index and Dew Point. Hold TEMP to search for sensor.

POSITION SENSOR OUTSIDE

• Keep your sensor out of direct sunlight in a well ventilated area.

• We recommend mounting it on the north side of your home under an eave or deck rail.

• Transmission range is 300 feet (91 meters) in open air.

WEATHER FORECAST ICONS

The unit predicts weather condition of the next 12-hours based on the change of atmospheric pressure. The weather forecast is about 70-75% correct.

Forecast Icons: · Sunny · Partly Cloudy · Cloudy · Rain · Storms · Snow (below 32°F, 0°C)

This station learns. Please allow 7-10 days for barometric calibration. This will ensure an accurate personal forecast for your location.

CARE + MAINTENANCE

• Do not mix Alkaline, Lithium, standard, or rechargeable batteries.

• Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for intended use.

• Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.

• Ensure the batteries have with correct polarity (+ / -).

• Remove batteries from equipment that will not to be used for an extended period.

• Promptly remove expired batteries.
