Pressure Washer Tune-Up Check List
Water inlet filter is clean and free of debris (dirt, grass, leaves, etc.).

Garden hose washer is seated properly and in good condition to prevent leaks.
o
Detergent/chemical suction hose is in good shape (no kinks, cuts, etc.).
o
Detergent/chemical filter is clean and set to open position (if adjustable).
o

Pump oil is at proper level and in good condition.
o
No evidence of oil leaks.
o
High pressure hose, trigger gun, spray lance, and nozzles are in good condition.
o
Engine oil is at proper level and in good condition.
o
Engine air filter and pre-filter are clean and in good condition.
o
Fuel, fuel filter, and fuel hoses are in good condition.
o
Spark plug is in good condition
o
Choke and choke cable operate properly.
o
No evidence of oil leaks.
o
Electric power cable and GFCI plug are in good condition.
o
Guards and shrouds are in place.
o
Tires are properly inflated.
o
Sufficient supply of clean water is available
o
(measure time required to fill a 5 gallon bucket and divide by 5 for GPM).
Garden hose has been flushed prior to connection to pressure washer
o
to clear any debris or hot water (heated by sun).
Spray pattern is clean and steady.

Output pressure is good.
o
Detergent/chemical injector is working.
o
Unloader/bypass valve is working.
o
Safety relief valve is adjusted properly (factory set and sealed if equipped).

Engine RPM are set properly (factory set).
