G S15R エンジンは、10クラスのエンジンカー入門者向きに開発したものです。調整の簡単なキャブレター、エンジン始動が手軽に行なえるリ
コイルスターター標準装備など、優れた機能を上手に、安全にお使いいただくために、この取扱説明書を必ずお読みください。

make it one of the be st ava ilable. F or s afe use, plenty of power output and lots of R /C fun, a ttentively read the ins tructions below.
●キャブレターの調整機能
1.ニードル
燃料の流量を 調整する部分です 。工場出荷時
にセットしてあります。そのまま始 動してく
ださい。
ニードルを回転させてしまった場合には、右
に軽く 止まるま で締めた あと、
位置にセットしてください。
2.スロットルストップスクリュー
エンジンのア イドリング回転数 を調整するス
クリュー（ネジ）です。右方向（時計回り）に
回すとアイドリング回転数は高くな ります。
調整の目安としては、クラッチがつ ながる回
転数とエンジンがストップしてしま う回転数
の中間ぐらいですが、なるべく低いほうがよいでしょう。
3.混合気調整ネジ（低回転用）
低回転におけ る混合気を調整するネジです。工場出荷時にセットして ありま
す。そのまま始動してください。ネジを回転させてし まった場合は、右に 軽
く止るまで締めたあと3/4回転戻した位置にセットしてください。最適なニー
ドル位置が決定したあとに、スタート時の加速が悪い ときは右方向（時計 回
り）に、アイドリングの回転数に回転数が落ちにくい ときには、左方向（ 反
時計回り）にまわします。

●リコイルスターター
このエンジンには始動用のリコイルスターターが標準で装備されています。
エンジン始動時にはスターターグリップ部を手で持ち、すばやく連続して引
きます。この時スターターロープは50cm以上引かないようにしてください。
いっぱいまで引くと、ロープや内部のスプリングが切れたりします。
●プラグ
プラグは消耗品です。内部のフィラメント部分が黒ずんでいたり、変形して
いたら交換してください。

●ブレークイン（ならし運転）から走行までの手順
1.
ニードルは工場出荷時にセットしてあります。そのまま始動してください。
タイヤが空転するように車を台の上に置いて、スロットルを最スローに

しておきエンジンをスタートさせます。
エンジンがスタートしたら、走行させますが、2〜3 タンクはフルパワー

にしないようにしてください。（ならし走行）

ならし運転中はいきなりハイパワーにしないで、ニードルを少しずつし
めていき、エンジンをいたわるつもりで10タンクゆっくりと走行させて
ください。
4
エンジンにあたりがついてきてフルパワー走行できるようになり、走り
にパンチがなくなったら早めにニ ードルを1/8回転ゆるめて（開ける）く
ださい。
通常の走行のニードルは、2〜13/4回転戻した位置を目安にしてください。
これより大きくしめこみすぎるとオーバ
ーヒートの原因となります。

●エンジンの調子が悪い・壊れる
原因となる事
1.ブレークインをしないで走行する。
ブレークインを十分行ない、各部分の動きを
スムーズにしてください。
2.ニードルを絞りすぎる（しめ過ぎる）。
オーバーヒートの直接の原因となり、ピスト
ンとシリンダーが焼きついてしまいます。
3.無負荷で高速回転させる。
エンジンの回転が上がり過ぎて、コンロッドが破損します。
4.エアクリーナーをはずして走行させる。
エンジン内部に砂、ホコリ等が入り 、ピストンやシリンダーを傷つけてしま
います。
5.駆動系、ブレーキが抵抗になっている。
6.プラグの劣化、燃料の不適合等。

This is a s crew to a djust A ir/F uel M ixture at slow engine spee d. Sc rew is set
at the fa ctory a lready s o s tart e ngine a s it is . I f you move d s crew, turn
clock wise until it s tops and 3/4 of a turn ca unter cloc kwise. If the car does not
ac celera te Q uickly, turn s crew cloc kwise. If the rotation of the e ngine does
not come down s moothly, turn s crew c ounterc lockwise .
●R ec oil S tarter
T his engine features a recoil starter as standa rd equipment. F or sta rting the
engine, take the s ta rter knob and pull it quic kly. Howeve r, do not pull past
50c m beca use the rope or the s pring ins ide the recoil s tarter might tea r.
●G lo w P lug
Whe n the fila ment become s bla ckish or deforms , r eplace the glow plug.
●S teps from B reak-in to No rmal R unning
1.S tart the engine with the needle position as it is .
P lace the c ar on a tes t stand s o the wheels become aloof from ground.

T hen, pos ition the engine c ontrol s tick to lowes t throttle a nd s tart the
engine.

O nce s tarted, While running the c ar/boat in practice another 2〜3 ta nks,
make s ure it does not re v up.

W hen bre aking the engine in, do not re v it up in the beginning but run it a t a
comfortable pace for 10 tanks . by scre wing the ne edle in little by little.
4
O nce the engine is run in and once incre asing engine spe ed can be done
and when-e ver the en-gine is c lose to losing engine speed, s crew the needle
out 1/8 turn.

●C arbureto r A djus tment
1. Needle
The needle a djusts the a mount of fuel
suc ked into the ca rburetor. It come s
fac tory- se t (3 turns from clo se d
pos ition) . S tar t the engin e with this
needle se tting.
2. Throttle S top S crew
S et the idle r pm with this sc rew. W hen
rota ting it clo ckwis e (r ight), rpm
increa se . As a thumb rule, the s etting
for c ars lies between the rpm the clutch
enga ges and the rpm the engine stops .
Idle rpm should be in the lower ra nge.

●エンジンの寿命
エンジンの寿命を短くさせるものは、ホコリの侵入とオーバーヒートです
が、寿命となりつつあるエンジンは始動しにくい、始動してもスロー回転が
安定しないですぐ止まる、プラグヒートをはずすと止まる…このような症状
が出はじめます。このような時は、シリンダー/ピストン一式、コンロッドを
交換することによって生き返ります。部品の交換、修理等はユーザー相談室
にお問い合わせください。

1.走行の場所
1
走行させるときは、近くに人、人家、自動車など、及び自分とプロポのバンドが
同じR/Cがいないか確認し、最悪の事態を考え場所を選ぶこと。
2
エンジンの始動は、必ず野外で行なうこと。
2.走行前の点検
1
プロポの電池は常にチェックし、送信機のスティック通りに正しく作動すること
を確認すること。
2
ビス、ナットのゆるみは走行前に点検すること。
3.エンジン始動の注意
1
ブレークインを必ず行なうこと。
2
タイヤを地面から離した状態（無負荷）で高回転させないこと。（エンジン破損の
原因になります）
3
エンジン始動時は、手を保護するため、手袋（軍手等）を着用すること。
4
エンジン始動時や、走行直後のエンジンは非常に高温のため、手を触れないこと。
5
模型用グロー燃料は、メタノールが主成分です。取扱には十分注意し、直射日光
が当たらない場所、又、子供の手の届かない所に保管すること。万一、目や口に
入ったときは多量の水で洗い流し、医師の診断を受けること。
6
回転部分には手や物を入れないこと。
7
エアクリーナーを必ず取付けて走行させること。
4.走行中の注意
1
車（船）の具合、電波、プロポの具合がおかしいときは、ただちに走行を中止し、
不具合の原因を調べ、修理、調整後走行させる。
5.走行後の点検
1
走行後は燃料を抜き取り、汚れ、オイルなどをふき取り、回転部にはグリスを付
けること。
6.その他の注意
1
初心者には、十分なれるまでは無理な走行はせず、ベテランにテクニックやマナ
ーを指導してもらうこと。
2
当社指定以外のパーツの使用や、パーツの改造は絶対にしないこと。
3
ラジコン保険に加入し、ラジコン操縦士に登録しましょう。（操縦士登録時に、
保険にも加入できます）

1. R unning a rea
1
In order to avoid acc idents , check if no one else is on your fre quenc y and that the
running a rea is remote enough from roads , re sidential dis tricts and people.

Always start and run engine s outdoors .
2. C heck before running
1
C heck the ra dio ba tteries and be sure the model moves according to your inputs.

C heck that all scre ws and nuts are tight.
3. O bs erve when starting the engine
1
Always break in.
2
Do not run the engine a t full throttle with the wheels aloof from ground (this will
dama ge the engine).
3
Always wear protective gloves .
4
B eca use it ca n become ve ry hot, do not touch the engine once it is started or after
finishing running it.
5
F uel for GP models mainly contains methanol. N ever expos e fuel to direc t s un-
light and always s tore it in s afe plac es out of children's rea ch. If ge tting into eye s
or if swallowed, was h out or induce a lot of water and immediately cons ult a
phys icia n.

K eep hands and a ny objects a way from rotating parts.

4. O bs erve when running
1
T he mome nt the model does not re spond to y our inputs, stop it a nd chec k the
model as well a s the radio. Find the rea son for the problem and c orrect it.
5. O bs erve after running
1
Draw out any fuel left over. A lso wipe off dirt a nd oil a nd regrea se all rotating
parts .
6. O ther points to observe
1
U nles s they got us ed to, entry-level rac ers are advised not to run ex ces sively.
They should a sk veteran race rs for hints, tec hniques, etc.
2
Do not us e pa rts other than a ppointed a nd do not modify them.
3
T ake out a n injury ins urance and get regis tered as ra cer. ( Or, after ge tting regis -
tered, taking out a n injury ins urance is also pos sible. )
