PV SYSTEM CONTROLLERS
Ly n c o m ’s micro p rocessor based charge controllers incorporate state-of-the-art design and advanced pulse-width-modulation (PWM) battery charging operation, offering the highest quality and more features of comparably priced PV c o n t rollers. Field proven PWM design for battery c h a rging, reduces water loss, extends battery life, and allows more daily amp-hours into the battery as c o m p a red to traditional“ o n - o ff” contro l l e r s .
The ‘N’ series contro l l e r sa re advanced PV system charg e and load controllers for 12 or 24 volt solar systems rated up to 25 or 35 amps, intended for PV applications such as remote homes, cabins, house-boats, campground & re c reation facilities, or telecom sites.
The ‘N’ series contro l l e r s display four system charg i n g status LED’s. The reverse polarity protection circ u i t design features a reverse polarity – red LED for PV, or b a t t e ry, ensuring proper hook-up.
Models N25(M) and N35(M) are controllers featuring a built-in LCDdigital system monitor which accurately displays battery voltage, push buttons display PV and load curre n t s. A load management-low voltage load disconnect circuit (LVD) is standard on all models, and pre v e n t sb a t t e ry over- d i s c h a rg e during extended overcast periods.
The ‘N’ series controllers come equipped with a re c e p t a c l efor adapting a multitude of single plug-in options: remote temperature sensing, remote LVD alarm signal, audible LVD alarm b e e p e r, remote LCD monitor, adjustable HVD and LVD voltage regulation, and remote control of manual switch for the load.
