Erasing the Demo Songs (Card Format/Delete Song) – PXR4
In order to erase the demo tracks, you can either format your card, or use the individual "delete
song" function. To format your card:
1. Press the "System" key
2. Cursor down three times to "CardUtl". (Card Utility)
3. Cursor right once
4. Cursor down four times to "CdFormat". (Card Format)
5. Cursor right once to "Format?” You will see the word "yes" blinking on the right side of the screen.
6. Cursor right once, and use the rotary dial to change the blinking word "no" to "yes".
7. Cursor right once and the screen will display "Working".
When formatting is completed, the screen will briefly display "Finish!", and then "MakeNew!" Your
card will be cleared of the demo songs, and you will then be prompted to select a song grade for your
new song. To delete a particular song:
1. Use the Fast Forward/Rewind buttons to select the song to be removed.
2. Press the "System" key and cursor down once to "EditSong".
3. Cursor right once, then down two times to "DelSong".
4. Cursor right once to "DestSong" (displays song number to be deleted). (Destination Song)
5. Cursor right once to "Del OK?", the word "yes" will be flashing.
6. Cursor right once, and use the rotary dial to change the blinking word "no" to "yes".
7. Cursor right once again - the screen will display "Working".
When formatting is completed, the screen will briefly display "Finish. The chosen song will be deleted.
