Quick Guide
Welcome to this Konica Minolta Quick Guide.
This guide is intended to give you quick reference to the relevant
feature or function of your device however it does not replace the
full instruction guides for the machine which should always be
referred to in case of any doubt or uncertainty.

If you have used the printing service at GSMD previously, your card will be pre-registered and you will not need to follow these steps
Registering your pass (first time only)
1. This is the initial screen for the device.
2. Swipe your pass and you will receive “user not recognised message”.
3. Enter your Username and Password
4. Swipe your pass again to register and to unlock the device

Basic Photo Copying Guide
1. This is the initial screen for the device.
2. Enter your Username and Password or swipe your pass to unlock the device
3. For Copying, make sure you are in the Copy screen by selecting the Copy Button.
4. Select the copy function you require (further details on following page)
5. Once the selections are made ensure your originals are either on the glass or in the automatic document feeder.
6. Press the Start button to commence copying.
7. Once you have finished press the Access button to logout
The machine will automatically log you
out after a minute of no use.

Photo Copying Options
Basic Screen
This screen allows you to select:
Colour Paper Size Reduction / Enlargement (Zoom) Duplex (Double Sided) Stapling (if fitted)
Touch the relevant button to make your selections
Advanced Functions
These additional menus allow for further features to be selected but are not necessary for everyday use of the device.
If any of these settings are changed inadvertently, press the Reset button to return all selections back to default.
The device will return to these defaults when you log out.
Multiple Copies
Slide the screen to the left to reveal the numeric keypad. To make multiple copies, enter the number of copies required using the numeric keypad once all other settings have been selected.
Press the red “C” button to clear the number
of copies entered.

Printing to the Device
1. This is the initial screen for the device.
2. Enter your Username and Password or swipe your pass to unlock the device
3. To retrieve your prints. Select the “SafeQ” button.
4. Select the “SafeQ Print” button.
5. Select ”Waiting Print jobs” button

6. The print jobs you have waiting are listed.
7. You can select the jobs individually or “Select All” jobs.
8. To Print the selected jobs, press the Start Key”
9. To delete the selected jobs, press the “Delete” key. These will be deleted when you exit the menu.
10. Select “More” next to each job to see more information about that specific job.
11. This screen confirms the print job has been released.
12. Once you have finished press the Access button to logout
The machine will automatically log you
out after a minute of no use.

Scanning on the Device
1. This is the initial screen for the device.
2. Enter your Username and Password or swipe your pass to unlock the device
3. To start the scanning process, select the “SafeQ” button.
4. Select the “SafeQ Scan” button
5. Select the “Scan to H: Drive” button or Scan to Email
6. To alter the default scan settings, choose from the menu at the bottom of the screen.
7. Ensure your documents are in the automatic document feeder and press the “Start” button.
8. Once you have finished press the Access button to logout
The machine will automatically log you
