Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance. You have selected a high-quality product. The
operating instructions are a constituent of this product.
They contain important information about safety, use
and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise
yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use
this product only as described and only for the specified areas of application. Retain these instructions
for future reference. Please also pass these operating
instructions on to any future owner(s).
Intended use
This door/window alarm is exclusively intended for
monitoring doors and windows in private properties,
and is intended to deter burglars by emitting an extremely
loud acoustic alarm. This product is not intended for
commercial or industrial use. The warranty does not
apply to damage caused by improper use of the
appliance!

CAUTION
Loud acoustic alarm! Subjecting your
hearing to this sound over long periods
could cause serious hearing damage!
■ Check the appliance for any visible external dam-
age before use. Do not use an appliance that has
been damaged or dropped.
■ This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with limited physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or lack of experience
and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by
a person who is responsible for their safety, or
receive instructions from this person on how to use
the appliance.
■ Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
■ Do not make any unauthorised modifications or
alterations to the appliance.
■ Repairs to the appliance during the warranty period
may only be carried out by a customer service
department authorised by the manufacturer.

Information on using batteries
CAUTION
► Do not throw the batteries into the fire.
► Do not short-circuit the batteries.
► Do not attempt to recharge the batteries.
► Check the condition of the batteries regularly.
Leaking battery acid can cause permanent
damage to the appliance.
► Special care should be taken when handling
damaged or leaking batteries. Risk of acid
burns! Wear protective gloves.
► Store batteries in a place that is inaccessible to
children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical
attention IMMEDIATELY.
► If you do not intend to use the appliance for
a long time, remove the batteries.

Inserting/replacing the batteries
♦ Move the On/Off switch to the “OFF” position.
♦ Open the front of the battery compartment by
pushing it downwards.
♦ Insert two type AAA/Micro batteries, as shown in
the battery compartment .
♦ Close battery compartment.
Installation
The appliance is suitable for doors/windows with the
hinges on the right or left.
The alarm device and the magnet are attached
using the self-adhesive strips on the rear side. The
surface to which the self-adhesive strips are affixed
must be clean, free of grease and dry. Carry out a
provisional function test of the appliance prior to final
installation in the desired position.

Remove the protective film from the self-adhesive
strips and affix the alarm device to the frame of
the window or door.
Attach the magnets to the window casement or
door panel, parallel to the alarm device (see Fig. B).
The alignment mark on the side of the magnet
housing must be pointing directly at the alignment
marking on the alarm device (see Fig. A).
For thicker door panels or window casements, position
the magnet on the side of the door panel or window
casement (see Fig. C).
NOTE
► When the door or window is closed, the distance
between the alarm device and the magnet
must not be greater than 10 mm!
Activate/deactivate alarm function
♦ Push the On/Off switch to the “ON” position.
The alarm function is now activated and the alarm
will sound if the door or window is opened.
♦ Move the On/Off switch to the “OFF” position
to deactivate the alarm.
Cleaning/storage
CAUTION
► To avoid irreparable damage, ensure that no
moisture penetrates the appliance during
cleaning.
♦ Clean the appliance with a soft, dry cloth.
♦ If you decide not to use the appliance for a long
period, remove the batteries and store it in a clean,
dry place away from direct sunlight.
Disposal
The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out wheelie
bin means that this appliance is subject to
Directive 2012/19/EU. This directive states
that this appliance may not be disposed of in normal
household waste at the end of its usable life, but must
be handed over to specially set-up collection locations,
recycling depots or disposal companies.
This disposal is free of charge for the user.
Protect the environment and dispose of
this appliance properly.
You can obtain further information from your local
disposal company or the city or local authority.
Disposing of the batteries
Batteries should not be disposed of in the
house hold waste. Consumers are legally obliged
to dispose of used batteries at a collection point
in their town/district or at a retail store.
This obligation is intended to ensure that batteries
are disposed of in an environmentally responsible
manner. Dispose of batteries only when they are fully
discharged.

Warranty
The warranty provided for this appliance is 3 years
from the date of purchase. This appliance has been
manufactured with care and inspected meticulously
prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In
the event of a warranty claim, please contact your
Customer Service by telephone. This is the only way
to guarantee free return of your goods.
NOTE
► The warranty only covers claims for material
and manufacturing defects, not for transport
damage, worn parts or damage to fragile
components such as buttons or batteries.
This appliance is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty is deemed
void if this product has been subjected to improper or
inappropriate handling, abuse or modifications which
were not carried out by one of our authorised service
centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by
this warranty. The warranty period is not prolonged
by repairs made under the warranty. This also applies
to replaced and repaired parts.
Damage and defects present at the time of purchase
must be reported immediately after unpacking, or no
later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period are
chargeable.

A használati utasítás a termék része. Fontos tudnivalókat tartalmaz a biztonságra, használatra és ártalmatlanításra vonatkozóan. A termék használata előtt
ismerkedjen meg valamennyi használati útmutatóval
és biztonsági figyelmeztetéssel. Csak a leírtak szerint
és a megadott célokra használja a készüléket. Őrizze
meg jól ezt a használati útmutatót. A készülék harmadik személynek történő továbbadása esetén adja át
a készülékhez tartozó valamennyi leírást is.
Rendeltetésszerű használat
Az ajtó/ablak-riasztó kizárólag magánhasználatban
lévő ajtók és ablakok felügyeletére, és rendkívül hangos riasztási hangja révén betörők elijesztésére szolgál. A termék nem alkalmas kereskedelmi vagy ipari
használatra. A készülék nem rendeltetésszerű használatából eredő károkért nem vállalunk felelősséget!

FIGYELEM
Hangos riasztási hangjelzés! Ne hallgassa hosszabb ideig ezt a hangot,
ellenkező esetben súlyos halláskárosodás lehet a következménye!
■ Használat előtt ellenőrizze a készüléket, hogy
nincs-e rajta látható sérülés. Ne működtessen
hibás vagy leesett készüléket.
■ A készüléket csökkent fizikai, érzékszervi vagy
szellemi képességű vagy tapasztalattal és/vagy
tudással nem rendelkező személyek (gyerekeket is
beleértve) csak biztonságukért felelő személy felügyelete mellett használhatják, vagy ha felvilágosították őket a készülék biztonságos használatáról.

Tudnivaló az elemek kezeléséről
FIGYELEM
► Ne dobja tűzbe az elemeket.
► Ne zárja rövidre az elemeket.
► Ne próbálja meg feltölteni az elemet.
► Rendszeresen ellenőrizze az elemeket. A kifolyó
akkumulátorsav tartós kárt okozhat a készülékben.
► Ha az elem sérült vagy kifolyt, különösen óva-
tosan kezelje. Vigyázat, maró hatású! Viseljen
védőkesztyűt!
► Az elemeket gyermekektől elzárva tartsa.
Ha valaki lenyelte volna az elemeket, azonnal
forduljon orvoshoz.
► Vegye ki az elemeket a készülékből, ha hossz-
abb ideig nem használja a készüléket.

♦ Állítsa a BE/KI kapcsolót „OFF" állásba.
♦ Nyissa ki a készülék előoldalán lévő elemrekeszt
oly módon, hogy azt lefelé tolja.
♦ Helyezzen be két AAA/Micro típusú elemet a ké-
szülékbe az elemrekeszben található jelölés
szerint.
♦ Csukja be az elemrekeszt.
Összeszerelés
A készülék balra vagy jobbra nyíló ajtókhoz/ablakokhoz is használható.
A riasztó és a mágnes rögzítéséhez a hátoldalon lévő öntapadó csíkot kell használni. A felületnek,
amire az öntapadó ragasztószalagot ragasztja, tisztának, zsírmentesnek és száraznak kell lennie.
Mielőtt végleg felszereli a készüléket a kívánt helyre,
végezzen ideiglenes működés-ellenőrzést. Vegye le
az öntapadó csík védőfóliáját és rögzítse a riasztót
az ablak vagy ajtó keretéhez.
A mágnest a riasztóval párhuzamosan az
ablakszárnyra vagy az ajtólapra kell rögzíteni (lásd
a B ábrát). A mágnes készülékházán lévő beállításjelölésnek a riasztón lévő beállításjelölésre
kell mutatnia (lásd az A ábrát).
Vastagabb ajtólap, illetve ajtószárny esetén a mágnest az ajtólap vagy ablakszárny oldalára kell
helyezni (lásd a C ábrát).
