Please read these instructions carefully to familiarize
yourself with the required tools, materials, and installation
sequences. Follow the sections that pertain to your
particular installation. This will help you avoid costly
mistakes. In addition to proper installation, read all
operating and safety instructions.
All information in these instructions is based upon the
latest product information available at the time of
publication. Kohler China reserves the right to make
changes in product characteristics, packaging, or
availability at any time without notice.
Please ensure the electric work is finished before starting
to install the furniture.
Make sure the finished wall is straight and plumb, and the
floor is flat and perendicular to the finished wall.
Remove any moldings that may inhibit the vanity from
being flush against the finished wall.
It is recommended that the door(s) and shelf be removed
from the cabinet before beginning the cabinet installation.
Doing so will ease the installation process. TRESHAM
cabinet adopts top grade manchurian ash wood veneer,
E1 grade MDF and partially natural wood. Its harmful gas
emission is less than 1.5mg/L.
Turn off the water supply.
The pluming installation must comply with Water Supply
Regulations/Bye-laws, Building Regulations or any
particular regulations and practices, specified by the local
water company or water undertakers. The installation
should be carried out by a plumber.
Before installation carefully inspect the new fixture for any
signs of damage.

SAFETY: WARNINGS
Kohler products are precision-engineered and should give
continued superior and safe performance, provided:
1. They are installed, commissioned, operated and
maintained in accordance with the recommendations given
in this Manual.
2. Periodic attention is given, as necessary, to maintain the
product in good functional order. Recommended guidelines
are given in the section.
Carefully inspect the new fixture for any signs of damage.
When installing Kohler Products, manufacturers guidelines for
power tool safety should be followed.

INSTALLATION
1. Install Supplies
Install the services.
Hot (H) and Cold (C) inlets must be connected to the correct
inlet pipes.
Install the drain in accordance with the manufacturer s
instructions.
We suggest using P-trap drain. Connect P-trap pipe with
washbasin drain.
Make sure a watertight seal exists on all
washbasin drain connections.
Provide access to the plumbing
connections for future plumbing maintenance.
The hot and cold water supplies must be installed with
isolating valves.

2. Wall Preparation

Install the water supply and drain lines according to the
roughing-in information provided with your lavatory. The
water supply nipples must extend at least 76mm beyond
the finished wall material.
Complete the finished wall. Make sure the finished wall is
straight and plumb, and the floor is flat and perpendicular
to the finished wall.
Do not install any moldings that may inhibit the
vanity from being plumb against the finished wall.

3. Secure the Vanity
WARNING: Risk of property damage.
Position and Level
Do not drag the vanity into
position.
The vanity is
heavy and cumbersome to move. Obtain sufficient
help to lift or move the vanity to avoid impacting,
sliding, or side-loading the legs.
With assistance, lift and place the vanity in position
against the finished wall.
Verify the vanity is level and the back rail is plumb against
the wall. If necessary, turn the leveler(s) to adjust the unit.

· Install the lavatory according to the installation instructions
for the lavatory.

5. Complete the Installation
Install the Drainage
Install the Door Knobs
NOTE: The cabinet could be installed in Floor drainage or
Inwall drainage.

From the back side of the door, insert the screw through
the predrilled hole to the front.
Thread the knob onto the screw. Tighten securely.

Refer to the lavatory or drainage manufacturer s
instructions for proper installation.
Reinstall the doors after drainage has been installed.
Make adjustments to the door(s) and hinges as needed.
Refer to the sections to follow for proper adjustment.

Install the faucet (if applicable) and drain to the lavatory.
Refer to the faucet and drain manufacturer s installation
instructions.
Siliconized acrylic caulk must be used to secure the
lavatory to the vanity. Do not use 100% silicone sealant,
which will damage the finish of the vanity.
Run a 6mm continuous bead of siliconized acrylic caulk
around the top of the vanity, as illustrated.
Vitreous china lavatories are very heavy. Get
help lifting and aligning the lavatory.
The lavatory is properly positioned when: (1) the back
edge of the lavatory is flush against the finished wall and (2)
the overhang on the left, right, and front side of the lavatory is
equal on each side of the vanity.
With assistance, lift and properly position the lavatory on
top of the vanity.
Immediately wipe away any excess caulk that contacts
the vanity.
Run a 3mm bead of siliconized acrylic caulk along the top
edge of the lavatory where the lavatory contacts the
finished wall.

Refer to the illustration and note the screwdriver location
for the desired adjustment.
Apply a small amount of leverage to the door with one
hand to keep the door in the full open position.
Press the clip to release the hinge from its bracket.
Move the door forward to slide the hinges off the brackets.

8. Door Reinstallation

NOTE: To ease installation, get assistance supporting the
door.
Align the hinge hooks with the slot of the top bracket.
Slide the hinge onto the top bracket.
Clip the hinge onto the bracket to secure.
Repeat for the lower hinge.

WARN! Risk of product damage.
1. Many cleansers contain abrasive and chemical substance
which is not suitable for cleaning stainless steel, enamel,
plating or plastic products. You may use mild cleansers or
soaps to clean the surfaces. Wipe any splashes of cleaner
solutions from the surface with clean soft cloth.
2. Maintain ventilation in the bathroom, and separate the dry
area from the damp one if conditions permit. Try to open
the door and windows of the bathroom and maintain good
ventilation.
3. Kohler bathroom cabinet are dealt with strict procedures
for damp-proof, whose good damp-proof function ensures
good performance even in bathroom of huge humidity. Yet
do not splash and pour water directly on the bathroom
cabinet. Make sure that the bathroom is not over damp
and wipe any splashes from surfaces immediately.
4. Maintenance of door board: Clean and wipe door board
regularly, and wipe the condensation vapor with dry and
soft cloth.
5. Ensure that electrical connections for appliances such as
head lamp is insulated; wipe mirror surface with chamois
regularly to guarantee the persistent excellent performance.
6. Please do not sit, lean or step on the cabinet.
7. If any fixtures caused by abnormal reasons, Kohler China
can supply paid replacement for service parts caused by
abnormal reasons in the limited duration of warranty.
