Type 1 Required
Purpose: To increase the reliability of the PROCESSOR by replacing the ROLLERS in the FIXER/WASH
CROSSOVER. The replacement phenolic ROLLER has a steel core, which significantly reduces
swelling, binding, and possible film transport problems. The mating rubber ROLLER is being
replaced because the new ROLLERS are not interchangeable with the existing ROLLERS, and
therefore must be replaced as a set. New BEARINGS and E-RINGS are also supplied.
Included with this Mod is Operating Software, which is being supplied to upgrade PROCESSORS
to the latest Software Version.

• 180 LP PROCESSOR with a SORTER and 180 LPS PROCESSOR must
have SORTER Mod 1 installed before attempting to download the 2.24
Software.
• The Kodak Ektascan 2180 LASER PRINTER must have Software Version
2.16 or higher installed before the PROCESSOR 2.24 Operating Software
can be installed.

Checking the Current Operating Software
For the Kodak X-Omat 270 RA PROCESSOR and the Kodak X-Omat 270 RA PROCESSOR in a Kodak X-Omat
MULTILOADER 300:
1. Check which Version of Operating Software is installed in the PROCESSOR. See the PROCESSOR or
MULTILOADER 300 display, or use the PORTABLE COMPUTER.
• If the PROCESSOR already has Operating Software Version 2.57, advance to “Installing the New
ROLLERS, BEARINGS, and E-RINGS” on Page 5.
• If the PROCESSOR has an earlier Version of Operating Software, advance to “Installing the Operating
Software” on Page 4.
Note
If the PROCESSOR has Version 3.0 Operating Software, no change is necessary. Advance to “Installing the New
ROLLERS, BEARINGS, and E-RINGS” on Page 5.
For the Kodak X-Omat 180 LP PROCESSOR
1. Check which Version of Operating Software is installed in the PROCESSOR. See the display on the LASER
PRINTER, or use the PORTABLE COMPUTER.
• If the PROCESSOR already has Operating Software, Version 2.24, advance to “Installing The New
ROLLERS, BEARINGS, and E-RINGS” on Page 5.
• If the PROCESSOR has an earlier Version of Operating Software, advance to “Installing the Operating
Software” on Page 4.
For the Kodak X-Omat 180 LP PROCESSOR
1. Check the
