power.
■ Unplug the AC adapter and share your pictures at a party or wedding, or take your
frame to an outdoor event where AC power is unavailable.
■ Your frame can run for up to an hour* on battery power.
*Battery life may vary. Factors that may adversely affect battery life include playing
videos, playing audio files, using a high volume setting, and using a high screen
brightness setting.

Troubleshooting and support
Resetting the clock and calendar after losing power
If you turn off the power on the frame or otherwise lose power for longer than 12
hours, the clock and calendar return to the factory setting and the automatic on/off
times, if set, are disabled.
When you turn the frame back on, the Clock and Date screen appears.
1 Set the clock.
Tap the arrow lights or slide to select the current time (based on a 24-hour clock).
2 Set the date.
Tap the down arrow to highlight Year/Month/Day, then slide or tap between
the left/right arrow lights to select the current date (three separate settings).
3 Tap OK.
The time is reset and the automatic on/off times (if set) are re-enabled. It is not
necessary to reset the on/off times.
NOTE: If you exit the Clock and Date screen without setting the time, you can manually reset the clock and
re-enable the automatic on/off times (see page 7). It is not necessary to reset the on/off times.
Refreshing the battery
Refresh the battery if your frame hasn’t been plugged in to AC power for a long time
(more than a year), or if the battery isn’t holding a charge.
1 Fully charge the battery—connect the power cord and leave connected for at least
3 hours.
2 Fully discharge the battery—disconnect the power cable, start the frame and let it
run until the battery is discharged (the frame turns itself off).
3 Repeat the above charge/discharge procedure 2 or 3 times.
